Ends on cliff hanger. Starts new ep. 5 minutes in its good. next 40 minutes its quite disappointing. Ends on cliff hanger. Repeat.
I'm seeing some negative reactions in here. Well, I quite liked it tbh. Had me glued to the screen the whole time. Maybe I don't remember the quality of seasons 1-5 or maybe I'm just happy with little, who knows. Everyone seems to hate this season and I have to say I'm not 100% happy with it. BUT. I really liked this episode. Anyway, what can I say.
The production value on this is visablly fucking insane. What a gorgeous show.
And with only 2 episodes out I am already hooked like haven't been by a show in a long time.
EDIT after full first season:
Damn, I'm disappointed right now. It started off so well with the first episode. But with each passing episode it felt more like two different shows. One on Trantor about Empire. Which was fucking amazing science fiction and mesmerizing to watch. But also one on Terminus about the Foundation itself. Which felt like a cheap SyFy spinoff in the same universe. Very bizarre.
Still an entertaining watch throughout but it could have been so much better.
BTW. I haven't read the books.
Terribly boring. Doubt I’ll continue past episode 2. Just uninteresting and not funny.
update: watched the entire series.
still uninteresting, still not funny, the only thing worse than this in the MCU is Captain Marvel
I don't know about you guys, but i'm only watching it for one reason: Hayley Atwell.
OK so the second act is being enjoyably batshit from the off.
Also, to the other commentors, kindly fuck off with your homophobia and idiotic "woke trash" dismissal - honestly don't see what was so 'woke' about this episode.
Besides, a decade in, you should know what you're getting with this show.
Having David Tennant back as Kilgrave was a blast! Showed what this season is lacking, a true villain.
One of the best show. I could tell just from seeing the first episode! It's renewed for season 2 just after it's 1st episode. That's awesome.
I’ve seen two episodes now and I’ve got to ask: what’s the point of watching this?
There’s nothing inherently satisfying about the show itself.
Just putting a twist on existing lore and calling it a day isn’t enough to hold my attention for 30 mimutes, nor any sane person, I imagine.
Are people only watching this because it sets up future stuff?
Why would anyone watch something that’s just set-up?
Projects are always supposed to function as an isolated piece of art, and not just as a piece of a larger machine.
This show is so empty, it’s the kind of format that lends itself for short 4 minute videos on Youtube.
But a feature series? Come on.
Edit: alright so there is an attempt to tie the loose ends together in the final episode, but still, it kinda fails to justify its existence.
Michael Burnam on truth serum gas is my everything...
the sleeping dead
I really like Jodie Whittaker as the new Doctor. I adore her energy and her eccentricity and her spunk and her randomness. I can't wait to see more of her!
3 great episodes, 9 ranging from utter shit to acceptable. Easily the worst season since the reboot. the plots were incredibly predictable this time around. This is the first time a season of Doctor Who really felt like a kids' show to me, the writing was just so weak and generic, this season only manages to impress if you're familiar with a...limited amount of other media.
I think that The Flash is very overrated series (at least on Trakt) with only a few good episodes. Every episode to me like McDonald's - not good, not bad, just regular food.
If I had to describe this show in one sentence I would call it a terribly bad narcissistic Walter O'Brien ego-trip.
The show is amazing, good dynamic, great characters, seems like we found a new great tv show.
Should have had a mask tbh
Pasterama. Two things are for certain, 1. I love this show, 2. It's going to get cancelled. Enjoy it while it lasts.
YESSS, covert op, espionage, exfil, it's a live tribute to the first seasons. Loved it!
someone chop off duchovny's fucking hair please for the love of god
I was supposed to be in this but my part was cut out. meesa pissed off
Great episode very much in line with the original series! I’m excited to see what else is too come. I feel like people are misremembering the original show because this was very similar to most twilight zone episodes and it was great.
This show is worth watching even if it's just to hear Mike Tyson pronounce Cormac Mccarthy and chupacabra.
i fucking hate trish so much
Wow. I did not expect that.
"I can't! I'm getting fingered!"
"Die, motherfinger!"
I laughed so hard....
Ridiculous scenes like this combined with the Frankenzombie and the story about Lucy make Z Nation the best Zombie show around right now. TWD just offers aimless shootputs and giant plotholes at the moment , while Z Nation has a real story arc.
###Am I missing something huge?
It feels like there should be a point or something, but all I see are plain stories with some poor attempt to make deep meanings.
I'm on episode 7 of the first season, and if this is it, I'm done with this series.
I do enjoy the acting very much as it's really good and the score is very unique and interesting. However, it's far from enough to get me through any more episodes.
I think this is the most boring series I've ever watched. Due to it's popularity, I'm convinced I'm missing the point. It's progressing painfully slow, and barely anything happened the first three episodes.
Will it get better? Am I missing the point? Anyone?
I didn't rate this because I only watched the first 7 episodes
I'll score whatever I watched though.
