Im 16 underaged, netflix -> let’s go!
This was a very nostalgic watch, it's just a shame it ends in a cliffhanger and no further seasons, would love to see what happens next. It's very inspired by Star Wars imo, sometimes it's too noticeable, but doesn't take away from the fun.
I don't know if it's the actress, the character, or both, but "Auggy" is the most obnoxious and irritating character I've seen in quite a while. Tiresome af, tarnishes any scene she's in.
Cameron: "Foreman is Black!"
House: "What!? How long have you been sitting on this information?"
The opening sequence with the call center is the dumbest thing I've seen in a long time. The second dumbest thing I've seen in a long time was the beekeeper's detonation device rigged to explode by the next call while he was standing with the bomb. How did he survive this long with such stupid devices?
Edit: I spoke way too soon. It just keeps getting dumber every minute. It's one of those movies. I'll try to shut up and enjoy the ride.
Edit2: Now they're just killing innocent people, I guess the Beekeepers is a terrorist organization?
“Yeah, a funeral of all my enemies”
I love the new Richie.
Might be my fav episode of the season so far. Full of hope and redemption.
The hesitancy of Jeff while giving his number to Claire got me curious. He was leaving his number to the fridge guy at the beginning of this episode as 773-555-0901. He told Claire as 0902. A sad tiny detail.
Genuinely, I was just so glad to see them smiling at the end.
wendy's storyline was totally disposable
W: I didn’t picture you living in a place like this.
K: Small?
W: Sparse. Your life seems very abundant.
K: Well, one’s expansiveness of spirit needn’t be reflected by one’s personal surroundings.
How is nobody suspecting that guy who chucked the FBI out of the missing-children case in the first place? He fits the profile, he's both black and everyone seems to know him, plus he was extremely interested in their case and what they're thinking.
Manson though, holy. Love how he's so charismatic, Holden couldn't help but smile.
AMAZING episode, though not exactly a 10/10 from me as I'm left feeling a little unsatisfied with Debbie and Wendy's characters.
Debbie's always challenged Holden in some way, but their getting back together all of a sudden was jarring - it didn't make sense, not without any telling or context as to how it happened, they sort of just... Are around each other again, for some reason.
Wendy's character did a sort of 180 these last 2 episodes, which is a shame, because she's a brilliant addition to the team. I'll admit, the putting out the tuna thing was great, but lead to nowhere ( or perhaps there was symbolism behind it, but I certainly didn't pick up on it ).
The ending scene is exactly what a crime drama / thriller should be all about, and I'm absolutely floored at the phenomenal acting.
The least interesting episode of the season, so far (for me, anyway). In part, probably because 34 minutes runtime (about 5 of which consist of opening and end credits) does not suit the show, it's just too short for the interviews to develop and get somewhere. Episodes closer to 60 minutes have shown better potential. As such, we didn't get much more insight about "sequential" killers and their troubles minds. It was not an episode like the others, unfortunately. Even though we get a conclusion to a case, if there ever was a filler episode thus far, this one would be it, it just feels like one.
Snooze. Sorry, too long. A beautiful movie for sure and it has its moments but whew...........too long.
That last shot with the three of them in the elevator skyrockets this episode to the top!
Best screenplay of house series so far
I liked the 'out of the ordinary' episode format.
Great "DARK-wanna-be" serie!
If you like DARK (2017-2020) you probably will like this too. Not so brilliant, but same vibe. And if you never see DARK, do yourself a favor and see it now! Let BODIES for later... You will thanks me for that later too!
[spoiler] Just last episode is a little weak, some script flaws and an end too "American" for my taste (and for an UK serie as well).
A great conclusion to a great arc (and the season).
Several other arcs could've used 3 episodes, but oh well. Glad this one got the time it deserved - we even get some great character moments near the end!
As with the rest of this show, it's well worth a watch.
doesn't secret origins have 3 parts, why is two episodes missing here?
That Luthen shake off scene was EPIC
Denise Gough as efficient fascist lady Dedra Meero is scarily good in the role. Great casting and event better acting. That slight face muscle twitch before leaving the interrogation room, damn.
Making Sam deaf was a great example of how diversity and representation don't have to compromise a character. I'm not deaf myself, I don't know anyone who's deaf, and yet you won't hear anything negative from me about Sam being deaf, because 1) it's not my place to judge whether it's meaningful to those represented, and 2) they managed to keep everything that really mattered about him.
In fact, I'd argue Craig Mazin even elevated Sam's character and his dynamic with Henry by tying his deafness to his innocence. Sam can't hear the gunfire, explosions, screaming, and tough conversations that Henry has to deal with and protect Sam from. It ties into what Joel tells Henry about how being a kid is easier. What a great adaptation of this chapter in the story.
That moment where Sam is sitting on the edge of the bed and we don't know if he's turned was adapted brilliantly. In the show, Ellie knows he's infected, but when she calls out to him and gets no response, she doesn't know if he's okay, because he's deaf. Great example of incorporating representation into a story in an uncompromising and meaningful way.
I would expect more from a special agent in terms of hand-to-hand combat.
I could honestly watch a full show of Olivia Colman being a pretentious, passive-agressive bitch.
Olivia plays a passive aggressive, narcissistic arsehole SO WELL
I found this incredibly inspiring even though I never stepped a foot in a gym.
