While still funny and immensely entertaining, I confess I was a little disappointed with Deadpool. With this character, they had an opportunity to make a completely ridiculous and nonsensical superhero movie, and what we got as another generic plot following the tired origin story / damsel-in-distress formula, with a bit of crude humor and 4th-wall breaking mixed in. I almost wonder if that was the cost for finally getting this movie made.
What do both The Wall and Jon Snow have in common?
They both got "blown" away at the end ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Now we know why Hodor says Hodor.
HODOR = Hold The Door!
Perfect episode! We get to see that Christians could be just as savage as the Vikings. I wonder what was the real reason for King Ecbert to spare Judith from an unavoidable punishment and appease Aethelwulf. Does he really think of Athlestan as a 'deeply spiritual' man? I mean, Athlestan did mention (in front of him) that he had two faiths. Maybe the king wants to use Athlestan as an ally in the future, but little does he know that... well.
Ragnar and Lagertha are grandparents, time really does fly! It was a nice gesture from Bjorn to name the little one Siggy.
It's such a pity that Athlestan will never see his own son, but at the same time it was fascinating to watch Floki being pushed over the edge by his raw emotions. He really is loyal to his Gods above all else. The ending was great too, I can only guess that Ragnar has gone completely mad (his people will not be pleased if they see him carrying a crucifix), but we'll see.
Space Jam 1: Has Danny DeVito
Space Jam 2: Does NOT have Danny DeVito
Verdict- Space Jam 1 is better
What a magnificent funeral. What a way to go meet the gods. In some way for her, that is the most beautiful thing. It’s always just those left behind, bereft, that suffer from death.
I was weeping throughout, but toward the end I stopped weeping and just fucking cried haha.
Wondering if anyone could watch this without weeping. But then again, such a someone would fall into the natural selection of “not a friend”
Much better if you only watch it once.
41 YEARS LATER and nothing has changed...same old arguments
First I have to say that sports movies or in this case motor-sports movies are not the genre I usually prefer to watch.
But I gave Rush a chance, because friends told me that the movie is good, and Niki Lauda is an Austrian like me. Of course not the best reasons to watch a movie from a genre you are not into.
And I shouldn't have watched it. For me it was pretty boring, I started to skip some scenes. The acting of Daniel Brühl was really not good - and I hated that Austrian-English-accent. I guess yes, the people in Austria were bad in English at this time - but this accent for about two hours long. Noooooo.
But if you are into Formula 1 racing... I guess you gonna like it. I don't know. 4/10 hearts.
Great character and house design, but the plot is more of the same old same old, let’s all get along and nobody messes with my family. Wednesday’s storyline is pretty boring too. But overall not bad to spend time. I can never get enough of the Addams family.
An innocent kids show about a little Diva from space revolving around croquettes and friendship. I picked it up on a whim because it just aired over 10 days back to back and the art is wonderfully bright. Hopefully Cyclone Graphics gets another project at some point with a different demographic in mind.
Couldn't disagree with you more der_unglaub...
i loved this movie i thought it was awesome!! denzel & travolta nailed their roles playing their parts to perfection especially travolta he was spot on as the villain.
the story was great too tbh i loved the whole thing. i should mention i haven't had a chance to watch the first one yet but i will do at some stage. whether that makes a difference or not i dunno but i only rate a movie on it's own merits therefore i highly recommend this it's a great watch. i even bought the bluray the other day too.
