They should have made one episode out of the first three with less family melodrama and maybe it would have been less of a snoozefest.
I don't understand how people can call this thrilling and suspenseful when it's monotonous, unimaginative and lacking substance.
The cast is doing an amazing job, cinematography's impressive but it falls short on writing/directing in my opinion.
In the middle of episode 7 I thought to myself “Could this get any worse?” Bingo! It apparently can. I wish I had been drunk the whole time. Or better yet, drunk watching something else.
P.S. Stop telling people they didn't like it cause they didn't know it was a parody. I didn't like it and I knew it was a parody when I watched it. And no, parodies aren't supposed to bad. Get over it.
I've seen too many shows like this. It's... not good. Either it's gonna get cancelled too soon or they're gonna drag it out for as long as they can and then we'll get a terrible explanation. I don't know which is worse.
There are demons and other supernatural beings, sure, but I don't think this show was titled for that.
The real and true EVIL is represented by those four girls chaotically shrieking every time they get even a second of screen time.

The only thing this show did right was making sure the cat survived and found its way back to Daniel.
parallels would have made an excellent tv-show, too bad FOX didn't invest in it.
P.S. this is not a movie, it was meant to be a pilot for a tv-show that's why it's inconclusive.
The only good thing about this season was Jeri.
I didn't think it could get better than ep.5, it did. So beautiful in every way, writing, performances, costumes. Loved it.
Such a quiet and emotional episode, shot so beautifully.

It wasn't terrible, but if the original cast didn't make cameos it would definitely have been terrible.
I rather enjoyed random episode order. Just watch White last. Chronological order is just spoilers. It could have been much better but it was entertaining. Remember, White last.
This is the adaptation that delivers! Casting, costumes, faithfulness to the material, performances, visual effects (there are some cringe moments but overall really good) - everything meets the expectations and sometimes even exceeds.
That being said, I see how people who are not familiar with comics would find it confusing. There's so much happening, so many new characters in every episode, it can be overwhelming and sometimes it can feel like there's an issue of continuity. I guess they could have made episodes longer, or two parts for some chapters. But I think they didn't want to drag it out and I'm so grateful for that.

Cringing for 6 hours. Terrible writing. Literally all relationships are terrible, people like to bash only gay ones for some reason, all of them are done absolutely terribly. Not to mention how the gay relationship is only there for checking the box. The story is terrible. To save myself some time, it's all terrible, no other word comes to mind. I'm done with this show.

There are a lot of TV series that get cancelled and while I might get upset, I always understand why. Not this time though.
Every new season of Colony kept getting better and better; they took time to develop every character (except Bram, fuck Bram); acting was mostly good; even though it was centered around a family, they managed not to turn it into a family melodrama; avoided most of the clichés of the genre and created something good. Still it got cancelled. Not even a two part mini series to properly end things. Nothing.
I honestly have no words. The entire series is perfect, but the final episode was 10/10.
I wasn't sure how I felt about this show, thought I'd save my judgement until I finished the first season but episode 4 put me to sleep so fast it's here.

I enjoyed the series just wish it'd been a bit shorter, six episodes would have been ideal. When they failed the first time I had a pretty good idea who did it, but it just kept going and I was bored at some point, finale was great.
