My preferred version. Even more chilling and visceral without the visual aid. Stripped of its external personality a darker, colder core of the film is revealed which for me was more profound.
Raw. Gritty. Sobering. Realism at its highest form. A Southern Noir that includes very specific characters, motives, emotions, and consequence without crossing the line into broad generalizations and caricatures of a brutal environment the mainstream masses have rarely been exposed to.
Haunting. Suspenseful. A true thrill that personifies an entire surrounding environment. Classic

Meh. Devil reveal was shot well and felt epic but besides that a card middling a ppv and a themed dynamite.
Very powerful episode. Lot of beautiful moments throughout. Really loving the complex direction and emotions of the family now that a tidal wave of adversity and struggle has swept both brothers off their feet. Their relationship moving forward will be forged in fire.
Another big shift, but this time in Claire and Ruth’s relationship. Very interesting how they are women in similar romantic situations despite the age gap and and the reflective nature of their emotional tendencies. Excited to see where this newly opened door leads
A shift just took place. With emotions fluctuating and tensions rising, the direction of Nate’s arc has taken a turn. Will he resist temptation to bail on this forced dying fantasy
