The best new Star Wars film in three decades and one of the most satisfying films of the year.
What the hell are you guys talking about? The show is a great time. It's not taking itself too seriously and it's poking fun at all the horror movie cliches. Good job Ryan Murphy. You've done it again!
When Stormfront is speaking German, it's actually pretty good, but with strong accents. She's saying: "Do you remember that day, Frederick, Cloe put her arms out the car window. We found the perfect spot by the river in the shade of an apple tree. It was the first time Cloe ate fresh apples."
I'm a quite sensitive watcher so you can imagine how much I cried during this episode. Like a baby. So sad yet brilliant!
a high school romantic comedy thats actually good? and its gay? please make more movies like this. it has a great cast and lots of heart.
Watching this in a totally white audience was an experience. The little titters and nudges when 'make america great again' was mentioned, or about police officers shooting unarmed black people, or even one becoming president; to the we won mentality at the final phone call.
Then the deathly silence with the current footage being shown. I think quite a few people realised it's not just references.
These people still exist today.
They still have their rallies.
They still have their marches.
They still murder in uniform.
And they still hold these abhorrent views.
I think I even heard some people sniff away some tears right at the end once they saw the footage and heard the words of people who were there.
Enjoy the film; enjoy the jokes (it is a funny film) but make no doubt the characters shown still exist.
This show ruined television for me. Any other show and all I can think is Why am I not watching BoJack instead? It took me about half a season to start enjoying it, but once it hit me, it hit me like a long, hard kick in the urethra. Really, this is the only TV show that regularly brings tears to my eyes. I've become completely obsessed with it.
‘But it is not about me. I can’t lash out like some raging, entitled maniac. That’s a white man’s luxury’ - Stan Edgar -
crying and sobbing. ji-yeong was so sweet. and ali! and il-nam. fucking hell.
I read this comment about the movie which said "It felt like reading a good book, which is the highest compliment I can give to a film." and I couldn't be more precise .

"in this terrifying world, all we have is the connections that we make".
This episode was something omg and best of the season, of the show, so much pay off to what they were building and terrific performance by the actors and writers. Homelander is in an interesting place...it will be good to see what he does during season 3 and that ending omg. S3 looks super exciting already.
Gen V is the perfect example of exactly how spin-offs should be handled, the new series extends and enriches the world that is so well shaped in The Boys.
John Krasinski has proven to have a decent level of craftsmanship behind the camera but this movie proves that he should be kept away from screenwriting.
I’m really surprised at a lot of the positive reviews because the plotting and beats in this movie are super dumb. There is a small hint at the level we are working at when we are with Krasinski on “Day 1” where we get a small peek at life before the aliens came and they make a choice to drop in an Easter egg reference to the toy spaceship that gets his child killed from the first one. It’s a seemingly innocuous little call back, foreshadow, wink, knudge, whatever, but it is a perfect example of the types of choices made in this movie. I mean not to ruin anything but essentially an alien pilots a boat in this film. Overall it just bugged me.
A new variation on an existing concept. But nicely done. Fits well with other similar shows, like Liar Game (JP or KR), Zero, Kaiji, and others. Can only recommend it.
I noticed one thing. Each time there is a murder game in a Korean show, they focus more on the characters. In Japanese shows, they focus more on the game mechanics. I wonder why it is so.
A Christopher Nolan movie about Albert Einstein's theories of gravity fields, wormholes and several hypotheses :O :O :O
Yaaaahoooooooo - I CAN NOT WAIT!
Absolutely great anime!
Every episode makes you wanting for more.
I watched the whole 1st season in 3 days!
This is with no doubt the best anime I've ever watched...But to be honest I've only watched S.A.O and A.o.T.
Why are we getting introduced to like, 10 new characters? Hope it doesn't spend too much of the final season focusing on them all
why oh why cant there be a proper ending like we all want ? Typical series I hate it when they do that
Sae byeok looked so pretty she should have survived and got together with the main character , maybe get the house together and live with her brother too. Get her mom out of North Korea while meeting the main characters daughter. Sigh
I mean, I know the characters of maeve and otis were written with the idea of them being together by the end already planned, but given how the past season and episodes developed, I wish they used the excuse of them being stuck together at a gas station for the sole purpose of them realising their relationship is way too rotten by now to make it work and they should embrace the partners they had now.
With this season, Bojack Horseman has cemented my opinion that it is the best TV show of all time.
the hearts game episode here
My first anime after watching death note, after going through a list of anime's this one looked interesting. I never regretted watching it, I've watched it 3 times already. People who never watch anime should see this and death note, and after that you will search for more and more... Just to get those steins;gate feelings back. The only anime after death note and steins;gate that reached the same level of awesomeness was Code Geass.
Definitely better, ugh i love Ruby and Otis scenes so much, it's great Eric be more comfortable with the people around him, also Isaac and Aimme are the biggest surprise dynamic that works well so far!
THIS. IS. SO. GOOD. the kind of movie i can see a thousand times and it will never get bored
I don't like the mechas and I hate pink/green/purple/blue-haired people. I don't even watch too much anime. But this one... I LOVED IT. It was brilliant, and got me hooked from start to end. I watched it all in four days.
This was probably the best balance of humor and pathos this show has been able to forge since it started. The emotional throughline of BoJack's inability to cry had a solid setup, a hell of a punch at the end, but then only surfaced in the main plot when it was necessary and fit in naturally. The same is true of Dianne's story, which was told with great economy. Her conversation with Mr. Peanutbutter at the end of the episode felt real and devastating.
And the "heist"-esque plot to get the Nixon shot was a hilarious comic premise, with Todd in rare form ("Was that Nixon's boyhood exit sign?"), Character Actress Margo Martindale taking a hilarious gun-toting left turn, and even the long-lost Nixon son being a fun comic addition. From random gags like Ethan Hawke to the discussions of sitcom characters becoming president, the show packed in tons of comedy without ever losing the pathos of the story. It's a balancing act that the show has trouble with, but got just right here.
