Oh Maeve's so very clever!!! <3 her!!
-Hey, what are you in for?
-Everything.
Don't get everyone's issue, people seem to think this is season 2 of Squid Game or something aha, it's a reality show, of course it's not gonna have an in depth plot and 'characters', I think people genuinely believe this is meant to be the second season. I actually had fun with this, went in with the lowest expectations are don't care for reality shows and actually managed to have some fun with it!
Man I hate that trope they've used in the ending, it's always so stupid and annoying and feels like a cop out. Seriously.
On an unrelated note, think of all the inflation that's going to happen because this huge amount of money just went into circulation. I hope they'll address that in the last three episodes.
I really wish the season was longer. Really loved how it showed how teens use technology nowadays. Overall pretty great show.
Netflix is really killing it with these international shows. They are 2 for 2 for german shows IMO which is saying a lot seeing how 95% of german TV is absolute shite.
I don't get these ratings. What did people expect when they went to this movie? I mean, come on, it even has "Hardcore" in its name... I've been a fan of Ilya's work for a while now, ever since I saw his Biting Elbows clips on YouTube, and I've funded this movie as soon as it hit Kickstarter, and then I bought tickets to the cinema too, and I don't regret a thing. My expectations - brainless run'n'gun, violence, blood, explosions, gore, loud music, with a good share of comedy - were fully met, and then some. Crank got by without a strong plot, why does Hardcore suddenly need one? Scene transitions made sense, why would you need anything else in a pure action film? 10/10, will watch it again, once I get my digital download.
Decent low budget sci-fi film. This could've been a good pilot for a TV series especially with that ending.
lmao i cant believe yall are mad because "john is out of character" or "john would never yell at sherlock" like k thanks for making john's character so insignificant and simple. obviously we havent been watching the same show
Wonderfully animated, funny take on the Batman universe with characters you expect to see and many you don't, hello Jaws! A lot of the jokes will fly over kids heads but the constant bombardment of wisecracks means this doesn't matter. It seems the Lego movies will run and run (on tiny blocky legs) if they match the quality of this film, where everything is indeed awesome.*
You don't get aliens in Sheffield!!
Quite enjoyed the first episode, enjoyed Jodie Whitaker's quirky style.
this show just keeps getting better
Surprisingly good movie. The plot quickly took a turn I didn't really expect and Carla Gugino carried this movie to a higher level with her performance. the addition of the Moonlight Man was a bit too much for me though, It was a strong plot on itself without this piece of the storyline, it felt added to bring a bit more gore and horror to the story when truly it was thrilling enough.
A bit lighter than the first two, but perfect to start setting up the relationship between James/Saul and Mike. Another episode with the now classic shots from Breaking Bad that makes this show delightfull to the sight like it's predecesor.
Another excellent season. I loved most of the character interactions. New team ups especially Dustin and Steve are the best. I feel like 008 was a waste. Having another with powers and only use them to have Eleven realize she has to go home didn't seem like a good use of someone with powers. Maybe 8 will make her way to Hawkins soon. Also Billy and Max were kinda not used. Max was alright but she seems like a love interest and Billy was just the racist trying to stop here sister. Hopefully they will have more to do next season.
Pour les amateurs de Fabrice..Sa diction, sa verve, vous serez servi.
An exceptional episode. It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. The scenes in orbit were just breathtaking and also the scene on the moon when Ed meets the Russian Cosmonaut. How intense was that. This has blockbuster quality. And finally the ending was completely unexpected for me. This surely will have dire consequences.
that moment when you realise you sought asylum in Nazi Germany
3 great episodes, 9 ranging from utter shit to acceptable. Easily the worst season since the reboot. the plots were incredibly predictable this time around. This is the first time a season of Doctor Who really felt like a kids' show to me, the writing was just so weak and generic, this season only manages to impress if you're familiar with a...limited amount of other media.
The Americanized version doesn't compare to the original. Subtitles are totally worth the effort -- well suited for viewing on a mobile device, something about a smaller screen makes the subtitle reading less of a distraction. Excellent!
update after Season2:
They addressed that Mistress May is not an experienced dominatrix and that she didn't have Pete's consent in season 1. In my opinion this had to be addressed and I hope they keep showing what she did wrong, her way of learning to get better at her job and to develop healthy relationships without her domme side getting in the way.
I like the direction season 2 took and hope they will dive deeper into these characters and why they act like they do. Better than season 1 for me. To be fair, I mostly got stuck with this show because I love Pete/Carter, his Roommate Frank and the German man-servant Rolph, but I start to like Tiff as well.
Great documentary! However, after watching the Hulu version, this version seamed disjointed with it's back 'n forth style of storytelling. The Hulu version is more a linear timeline, digging into who Billy was before the festival and some of his other failed companies before telling the viewer about the Fyre Festival. The Hulu version also has interviews with Billy himself as well as his girlfriend which are even more revealing.
Also, it's good to know that the Netflix version was produced in coordination with the social media company which put on the Fyre Festival - F**K Jerry Media. I found it interesting how the Netflix version mostly glossed over their involvement while the Hulu version had an interview with the actual designer of all the social media elements from FJM. He gave a lot more insight into their involvement, which is very interesting.
All in all, I'd recommend watching the Hulu version first, and then watching this version.
Jodie whittaker has done an amazing part of the Doctor! Hoping to see more
of course it looks outdated, it's not about the special effects, it's about the story and your imagination (just like all 80s movies)
The show is amazing, good dynamic, great characters, seems like we found a new great tv show.
Best of the trillogy obviously.... Just head cannon the rest lol
Boring and lifeless. Is that stupid fake accent supposed to be German? Have they heard a German person speaking English???
Shonda Rhimes... producing garbage and brainwashing gullible white people sice, Grey's Anatomy.
I have never seen a movie like this before ...it is really fresh n funny but sometimes a little bit tiring ... overall it was ok.
Not my usual choice of film but I actually really enjoyed it! Very very funny and even though I'm not a batman fan I followed all of the batman related jokes with ease. Want to re-watch.
holy cow I love this show!
