What a fucking asshole. Never been so pissed since the Social Network. Probably affected my rating as well.

How did they manage to make a Kaiju movie boring and Godzilla the radioactive giant goofy?
King Fu Panda 4 is actually good. 6.5/10 despite the reviews, not great though.
Only problem is the run time, 1hr 25 mins is too short for the character development of the fox, if it was 2hr then I would’ve cried.
I get why the Furious 5 weren’t included, serves the story.
Some funny moments were there but the visuals, AMAZING. Every frame of the fight scene was a wallpaper, would like a movie in that art style.
Definitely the weirdest movies in terms of visuals and the plot. Couldn’t even judge the Oscar worthy acting very well because of how strange the plot was. I really don’t know what the point of the movie was cause if it was women empowerment then it was terribly executed. Like whose idea was to have a bunch of sex scenes with a kid in a woman’s body. The movie made me feel nothing except for cringe, don’t know if it was even trying to be funny or emotional.
Wasn’t that bad as people made it out to be. The aspects that I liked was the visuals and cinematography. What I didn’t like was the weak characters who had their forced sad stories, monotonous and bad acting especially by Sydney and Dakota, weak script with no emotions and bad jokes even with Adam Scott. The villain was terrible as well, uninteresting suit and bad acting/dialogues.
:clap::clap: That’s how you portray a strong female lead. The horror elements were unexpected but welcome. The score and the cinematography gave chills. The story does feel incomplete and the start was a bit slow, instead they could’ve showed her mother and her learning how to fight.
The plot was too absurd for me. The visuals, camerawork and creativity was the only good part that made it even slightly watchable. Usually you are impressed by the reveals in spy thrillers but in this you just go, “WTF!”
The action was good and the premise was great. Would like to have seen a longer version, with the Beekeeper’s past, his time with the old lady, the old lady’s shock after getting scammed and some action from the bees like in that one Black Mirror episode.
Still gave a 7/10 cause even though I didn’t care much about the old lady dying, the premise included old people getting scammed and crypto bros stealing with false hopes so those emotions got transferred.
The acting and score/songs were great, the action and cinematography was good but got ruined by the editing. The editing and sound mixing were just weird. The plot diverged in the middle and wasn’t interesting but picked up at the end. The ending was slightly emotional just cause of the phenomenal actors cause I didn’t really care about the characters and for the same reason I’m not hyped up or excited at all for the sequel. Looks like a money grab teaser at the end, cause the arc of the main character got completed in this movie. Also he’s clearly portrayed as a victim of circumstances and bad parenthood, he cares for others but doesn’t shy away from violence. He’s not glorified since his wife leaves him at the end. Don’t get the controversies.
Good:
- The first fight scene, long take, good choreography and music. Which is probably the only memorable aspect of the movie
- The VFX shots were great, only the landing shots after they flew were bit jarring.
- Kamala Khan and the family dynamic
- The usual MCU jokes landed well except few like with Nick Fury
- The teases for the Young Avengers and X-Men were good
- The training montage scene was good but should’ve been longer. And the switching powers should’ve been more inconvenient.
- Overall, much more serious than I expected even with all the jokes that were sprinkled in. They really tried to make the audience care with the dramatic music and shots of suffering but didn’t really work. But still better than treating everything as a joke like in Thor Love and Thunder.
Bad:
- The final fight scene was rushed, filled with quick takes and close up shots that were uninteresting
- Monica and Kamala did some cool stuff and choreographed action with their powers but their origins were rushed. Kamala especially fights way better in the movie than the show and the movie is supposed to be right after the show so it doesn’t make that much sense.
- The actors tried but the multiple emotional scenes didn’t work, it was either rushed or we didn’t know the characters well enough because they just told instead of showing the conflict between Carol and Monica, which connects with the next issue. Kamala immediately forgives Carol, she should’ve been more affected by it since she always had an idealistic view of her
- The motivations of the villain were cliched and she wasn’t intimidating at all. Marvel is used to having anti heroes as villains or antagonists. Doesn’t mean they should be bad for no reason like the Kree in Captain Marvel.
- Questions: Why did the prince stop singing, why didn’t Kamala create a hard light barrier over the bangle, why did Monica have to close the barrier from the other side, and where was Saagar’s (elder brother) wife. Yeah nitpicks
- The musical scene and the cats were kind of cringy but funny as well. Glad the musical scene was short and that the characters didn’t take it seriously
- Valkyrie’s cameo was nice but again her and Carol’s relationship was just told to the audience instead of shown. Also why not ask help from Thor, dude’s chilling with Love who is also very powerful.
- Overall the movie was rushed, it was fight scene after the other with some forced jokes like in the climax. Curious about the scenes that were deleted. This movie should’ve been the third one, the ultimate team up, and my complaints about so much being rushed should’ve been addressed with the actual sequel.
Marvel really needs to slow down with the world ending threats, it gets rid of any stakes cause you know there’s going to be a happy ending. The conflict needs to be personal like with No way home, GOTG 3 and Loki S2
Usually don’t like movies about history but this did a great job making me care for something I haven’t experienced. Great acting by Benedict and the emotional scenes were handled well. Such a tragedy that even after preventing the deaths of tens of millions he was betrayed by his own country.
Rating: 7.5/10
Got me emotional so much. I love the progressive movies from Bollywood, these are much needed. Kiara’s acting is great and so is the supporting cast’s. The songs and story are great as well. Hopefully streaming allows this story to get to as many people as possible so rape cases reduce.
The first half was boring, the second half was kinda interesting with few jokes that made me chuckle. Liked the characters, didn’t feel a female centric team for the sake of it. Overall it was a 5/10, they tried to create a movie like Deadpool but the Suicide Squad approach stayed. At least the music and cinematography in some scenes were good like with the Suicide Squad.
Ok, I hate her now
Over the top like South Indians but it was so hype and emotional. The final demand was cheesy but if it changed minds of the masses then great.
Bravo Karan johar. Dealt with emotions well, top notch acting, few scenes were funny when it wasn’t supposed to be. Good plot and chemistry. Songs could’ve been better and the drama could be toned down so the few scenes would’ve more of an impact, some dramatic scenes felt forced, instead there could’ve been lighthearted scenes like in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar so the characters felt real instead of an archetype of suffering
Great BGM and action. Some things I didn’t like, the comedy and lack of hand to hand combat with the main character (most of the deaths are by the snipers)
Perfection in every single way. Can’t wait for season 2
Jokes and emotional scenes didn’t land, decent action (some were goofy) and bollywood laws of physics
Jokes didn’t land and the action eventually got boring and overdone
22 mins into the movie
The repeating trope of the good guys becoming bad and then realising they want to be good again is getting really annoying, especially with Magneto like dude pick a side instead of jumping side to side. It would’ve been less annoying and kinda reasonable if the motivations were understandable but they are not and are vague. Apocalypse was well done and the action was great with a pacing not getting you bored at any moment.
Much better on the rewatch, was initially put off by all the goofiness in the multiverse and the random triggers, so I couldn’t emotionally connect with the characters. Great representation of the multiverse
Don’t get the hate for this movie, acting is good, action is great, emotional and quite funny. The vfx in some slow mo scenes of The Flash can look slightly fake but the “bad” vfx is in the speed force scenes where the reasoning by the director makes sense. They actually shot those scenes with the actors so them looking like 3D models is a stylistic choice not bad VFX just like how the intro of the Secret Invasion show is supposed to look weird, when passed through an AI model, even though it was completely made by artists. Only complaint is the villain, Zod and Dark Flash had potential which wasn’t fulfilled
Great movie. Had a fun time. Dialogues were sometimes cheesy like the other transformers movies but the writing was funny and made sure the characters weren’t diverse for the sake of it. The action was well done too, you never get bored. Excited from the tease at the end
It was boring, random, confusing, uninteresting plot, dragged on and absurd. It was torture tryna complete this.
All of this would’ve been solved if the logical decision was made of putting the robots in space to not risk human lives and also the human can control the spaceship instead of the human in the spaceship controlling the real life of the person
I’m speechless, hands down the best episode. Love the subplots connecting together to form a twist while also doing some world building
Should’ve just told Nanette to call the police and told her what he was doing
