the movie progression/development is so crazy, so random and bad (Michael Jackson's bad), and i really liked it

borrrring! the story development is like a bumpy road, and at the end of the road is a cliff. Plus they randomly cast big stars who never fit the roles in the movie. Probably just because those are famous celebrities.

just give it a try for god's sake! The film resonated a lot with me and I loved it so much. I didn't find anything bad about pacing, script and actor choice. I think the film already achieved what it intended to.

This one is still pretty good. I know the live-action Mulan is still flawed. But it is a completely different take. I don't compare them. They are good in their own right!
Id rate the first half of the film a barely 5.5/10 but then it was getting better and better. There were times that it hit me so hard at so many different levels. What surprised me the most is how the dead facial expressions of the protagonist really worked so well on me that my feelings were overwhelming. What an emotional journey! I guess this Mulan film tries to stay true to the Chinese nature of a film. Thats why it wouldn’t be appealing to most if not all westerners. So id rate the second half of the film a solid 9/10.
PS: I didn’t watch the original Disney animated Mulan. So i had a low-pro expectation for this one.
Despite some poor acting and scripts at times, this movie is still surprisingly very good. (8/10 from me)

This movie is overhyped. What’s good is the second half of the movie
Didnt read the book or play the game. But the language used is really modern English. Maybe they should make it sound difficult and old fashioned to understand to fit into this genre.

The emotions are well played. The CGI is well done. But the plots are not consistent nor cutscenes and transitions. Could have been better.
The back story is quite generic but the whole idea can keep me entertained throughout the movie. Poor acting can be found at places. But it is still a good film, though
It’s a two hour movie. But the action scenes never fail to amaze me
The sound effects are eerie and scary. The camera work is excellent. The performance is pure. The show really works for me.
