Season 3 starts soon. I really hope it lives up to the first 2 series because I really enjoyed those.

The "Hentai" Prince and the Stony Cat

Overall a very confusing story that probably doesn't make a lot of sense. I enjoyed the show for the characters more than anything. The plot was just all over the place.

Man, season 2 was intense. I enjoyed it thoroughly. I really hope Madhouse continue the story as we've once again ended in a place that is most definitely not at the end.

My favourite ComixWave film since 5cm per second. Visually beautiful and conveys a great mood and message too.

So far, trashy but fun. The plot is as standard as you'd expect from a show like this, but the animation looks very nice, the characters are likeable and cute and it can be quite funny at points too.

His and Her Circumstances

I really enjoyed this series, it's just a shame that it was marred by some major budget issues (some episodes are practically slide shows) and not having any kind of conclusion when it ended. Anyone who watches this and enjoys it should probably check out the Manga to find what happens next ;)

I see quite a few sequels of stuff I want to watch this season. Looks like it could be a good one.

List probably isn't exhaustive, let me know if I missed any.

Of all the one's I've seen so far, I'd say my favourites (in order) are:
Hidamari Sketch
Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei
Madoka Magica
Bakemonogatari

Just FYI - AFAIK Katanagatari is just a rerun with new OP and ED's. No "new" content to speak of.

Wolf Children

Really enjoyed this movie. I wasn't completely sold until the "Childhood" part of the story began, I have to admit, but after that, I was on board all the way. It did feel like a long film, but looking at the amount of time that actually passed, it's no wonder. All in all, a great film which possibly ranks above Summer Wars and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (and that's saying something!)

After a fairly incomprehensible start, it does settle down a bit and explain itself. The plot is still rather all over the place, but so far I'm finding it to be quite an enjoyable watch. Certainly not SHAFT's best series by a long shot, but entertaining enough to keep watching to the end.

Robotics;Notes

I'd say this series takes a while to get going, but the pace certainly picks up in the second half. I like how it is "somewhat" grounded in reality in that they do seem to be trying to keep as much as possible in line with real-world physics and technology (obviously some liberties taken as it's set slightly in the future). So far, quite an enjoyable watch. I'm not sure how it will end and that will ultimately impact my final score on it quite a lot, but for now there's a lot to like about it.
Fans of Steins;Gate may like this too and there is supposed to be some link between S;G and R;N but a word of warning - this series is quite different from S;G in terms of art style, pacing etc.

This series was such a let down for me. I found it quite enjoyable almost all the way through. The opening and ending themes really conveyed the mood of the show (when it got serious, at least) and the art style was pretty nice too. I really was a fan of all those beautiful scenes being lit by the sunset etc. I also really liked the eventual climax with Yuuko finding her lost memories and until literally 5 minutes before the end of the last episode, I was ready to rate this an 8 or 9 as a very good series. The ending was all set to be bittersweet and actually quite beautiful...

But then, with literally a few minutes to go, the series does a 180. She didn't actually disappear, all that stuff that just happened meant nothing, now back to the messing around. It's not that I thought the show had to end with Yuuko disappearing, but the series itself was going in that direction and made what was actually very moving and emotional "final" scene... only to then chicken out, bring her back and return the "status quo" for the presumably inevitable series 2. Which I will not be watching.

High School DxD

I probably enjoyed this series more than I really should. It is a terribly generic harem series and you've probably seen all of these characters and plot devices before. However for whatever reason, I still enjoyed this series as a bit of mindless, silly fun.

Issei, our protagonist, whilst fairly generic, was at least unapologetically perverted, which I much prefer to the spineless harem lead who moans about how horrible it must be to have all these ladies fawning over him. He also does have a few moments of greatness and at least seems willing to fight for his clan.

I didn't like all of the heroines but I found Asia to be quite adorable and Rias' constant teasing of Issei to be quite fun. I also did like the idea of the demonic clan and their different class of "chess pieces" that fight for them.

Ultimately, you're not going to lose out much by not watching this series. But if you have some time to kill and fancy a silly perverted comedy anime with a few interesting ideas and some likeable characters, give it a go. A second season has been confirmed and I will probably be watching it.

The Legend of Korra

I found this took a few episodes to really get going for me, perhaps some of that comes from getting used to the new characters and realising that the world has changed quite a bit since Aang's adventures. However after that, it just got better and better. The end of Series/Book one is climactic and enjoyable and I personally can't wait for more.

Sword Art Online

sp1ti sums it up quite well. This series is overhyped to hell and nowhere near as good as it should have been. So much could have been done with a premise like this but sadly it ultimately fell way short of greatness and wandered into very standard Shounen cliche territory.

It wasn't without it's good points. Despite all its faults I did genuinely enjoy the first half of the series (the Aincrad arc), I just really wish the entire 25 episodes had been spend on this, instead of abruptly ending it at the halfway mark and moving onto Alfheim, at which point all the redeeming qualities of the series fall away one by one and we're left with... well, not much.

Judging by the popularity of the series and the fact there are, to my knowledge, 2 more arcs to go, I'm guessing it's only a matter of time until this gets a second season. I'm not really sure I'll be watching it though.

So far a very enjoyable romance series. A good combination of slapstick, romance and likeable characters.

Eureka Seven

Season 2 (Astral Ocean) - a bad sequel and, taken standalone, a bad show. Awful directing, annoying one-dimensional characters, a messy, convoluted plot. Overall, just bad.
Even if you liked E7, I wouldn't recommend this.
