If you're reading this you can skip half the episode and you won't miss anything since it's just a recap of past events concerning L's investigation.
L really did a bold move by reveling himself but Light is truly a mad genius and won't go down like that. This cat and mouse game is about to become an epic one.
I was with the MC all the way killing criminals but i can condone him killing innocent people that are just trying to do their jobs.
A brilliant ending after that disappointing last episode.
This episode is like movie Parasite levels of dark.
Granted that i don't watch a lot of anime, but Yor might be the most fearsome and badass female character in anime history.
Boring, slow, weird dialogue and the pacing is all over the place.
I enjoyed this episode so much. Bond doing spy work to save himself from a terrible meal was funny and Lord Damien going on a field trip to the nature was so beautiful and a nice change for him away from all the school pressure.
It's still crazy to me how everyone is looking the other way to the fact a CIA team operating in US soil killed 7 law enforcement agents to extract some guy from their custody.
Such over the top reaction at the end... you'd think they caught a brother kissing his sister for all that screaming they made.
There's nothing groundbreaking about the tale of this movie - which was already been told countless other times with different characters - and the tension, while present, doesn't really put you in the edge of your seat when you pretty much can predict how it will all end, but the end result is still entertaining nonetheless.
This movie spends most of its time tricking you into believe that it's a good movie, then you realize half-way that it's just a movie and by the end you're not even sure if you watched a movie.
hey, that's Nanami Kawakami! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
I honestly couldn't care less about Polina or even Sam. This subplot with them is always the worst part of the episodes.
It's all very safe and predictable. A poor man's Knives Out but still enjoyable nonetheless.
No one ever suspects the smartass detective who's always cracking jokes at the expense of others to be an actual smartass who cracks the case.
Skyler was worried about how it looked Walt buying that bottle of champagne while being unemployed and broke but they're planning to buy the car wash for $800.000?
I like Gus flirting - or trying to - with Walter during that dinner scene. I definitely didn't catch that nuance during my first viewing and especially after that episode of BCS.
Skyler really is the Kim Wexler of Breaking Bad.
The plot couldn't be more overdone and cliché even if they tried, but it's a lot of fun and very heartwarming.
This is the definition of a film that is all about style over substance and dragged down by a poorly executed story.
The main story was supposed be a mystery thriller where the protagonists are forced to try and find and apprehend the dangerous thief who stole a DC Mini, but it was all over the place. It was full of clichés, plot twists that could be seen a mile away, character revelations that came out of nowhere and a romantic subplot that was so out of the blue. It felt like it was trying to do too much in a short period of time, and sadly its detective Toshimi psychotherapy subplot (which is a problem in itself; a film with a complex plot and a 1 hour and half run time does not have the time to expend on subplots) was more focused and engaging than its main storyline.
I wish i could understand the hype and praise around this movie but i felt myself just wanting it to end. I wasn't impressed by the gore, camerawork or editing like others have. The plot sure wasn't nothing to rave about and differentiate itself from just about any other slasher film.
Sejeong is so adorably cute and sexy. I loved her acting in this episode.
That has to be one of the saddest 'friendzone' i've ever seen in a tv show or movie. I felt the pain from my dude.
This is what i call an explosive ending!
They couldn't deliver a more satisfying ending and that forced cliffhanger for a possible 2nd season only makes it worse. Otherwise, it was one hell of a ride that i won't forget for a while.
So the cops don't find the original necklace stashed in the dustbin while investigating the crime scene? And he just comes back in the same night to clean? There's no police there that recognizes him as the same black man who was just there? I'm sorry but too many potential plot holes and i'm employing a lot of suspension of disbelief to my taste already in the 1st episode.
I'm kind of disappointed yeah, but this is simply because Marvel fans (myself included) hyped every single frame up so much - we came up with a gazillion of theories every week and expected other Marvel heroes/villains to show up at any moment. This is a show about a woman dealing with loss and having to come to terms with her grief and moving on. This was a perfect wrap up to that story. Yes, it's set in the MCU so there needs to be that element - which there was, with SWORD and Agatha - but no one was owed Fox Quicksilver or a Dr. Strange cameo or the Hex making mutants or Mephisto. We should know there wasn't going to be big reveals and much development of the overall storyline of the MCU when that's destined to happen in the movies.
I think for this episode and the overall k-drama they really went with the plan "what if we put all the most obvious clichés of a teenage k-drama in it and also make it the most cheesy thing ever" and ended up with this. I only checked it up to know what the fuss was all about but no, thank you.
Elizabeth Olsen in that assistant magician wardrobe was really a sight for the eyes.
