Eraserhead

As if I didn't need another reason to stay child free. I can't imagine the stress parents have with a kid, much less a new baby. I've never seen any of David Lynch's other works, and I'm hesitant because I didn't care for this movie.

Futurama

So happy that a series that I grew up watching got revived. I love adult cartoons that are self deprecating and poke fun at society as a whole. This show is A+. Can't wait to see how the most recent season plays out and hopefully more seasons are released through Hulu.

I saw so many people talking about this movie, and I thought it would be halfway decent, but I didn't get into it. I love alternate universe theories and media that explores it, but having the whole movie set in (mostly) and condensed into one setting didn't grab me. I did like that they did connections to alternate universes and were creative with different universes, and incorporated each of the main characters in the original universe. I didn't love this movie as much as what everyone was raving about. Skipped around a lot, continuity was half assed

DEEMO Memorial Keys

The animation was stagnant and robotic. The whole movie's animation reminded me of the anime RPGs that I would play on the PS3 10+ years ago. The story was slow even for 90 minutes. Only thing I liked was the music. Felt like it was just thrown together to sell more of the game associated with it.

Like watching 69 minutes of memes and random 3am YouTube videos.

This series was the main reason I wanted to live in a city or town surrounded by people instead of in the sticks.

Cyborg 009

I remember watching this series when I was younger on Toonami after school. Sadly only so many episodes aired before moving to a later block. I fell in love then, and still love it. The design is reminiscent of the art from the 60s with the coloring and animation of the early 2000s. Every episode gives depth for every character, and there's lots of growth. The Cold War and the Soviet Union is still a thing in this version even though it came out in 2001, but it works nicely since when the series originally was released the Cold War was at its height.
