God, this epiode had me all over the place. First panicking about Julia and then being happy because of the baseball scene with all the Braverman's supporting Victor and then they hit me with that emotional as hell scene of Kristina telling the family she has cancer? Not to mention the phone call with Haddie & Adam earlier on? Good god this storyline is ruining me. :sob:
"You've been playing sexy firefighter, Cap?"
"What makes you think I was the firefighter?"
LOOOL, that was brilliant. Poor May's gonna be scarred for life. :joy:
if someone told me that my fiancé was their soulmate on my wedding day then i'm throwing hands
Watching Season 1 so far has sadly felt like a bit of a chore. It's been so fun to see Daryl back in action and I've been trying so hard to get back into the swing of watching the show - but so far it's just been so slowly paced and little to no action at all that nothing has been truly gripping me. Perhaps it was my expectations going into it, expecting something like the main walking dead with action packed episodes left right and centre. I've been putting off finishing it because I've just been bored in the episodes I've watched so far. Hopefully once I finish the series, my review will change. For now though? Sadly disappointed.
the scene where Arthur walks up to the stage with his music playing gets me every. damn. time.
The acting felt mediocre at best and a little awkward at times, but I know most of us watch these for the dancing anyway which was pretty good! And of course, the cameo from Moose made it all worth it.
I'm in pieces. :broken_heart:
Michael Sheen & David Tennant's acting in this episode especially at the final scene was absolutely phenomenal. So heartbreakingly wonderful, truly such talented people. The way they delivered the lines, the way they were speaking with just their facial expressions, ugh just EVERYTHING - absolutely incredible. I swear to god, we need a Season 3 and we need it ASAP! Neil Gaiman, we need to talk. You're paying for my therapy.
"We could've been us." :sob:
A truly INCREDIBLE show. There's no other show like it or that'll even come close, they don't make them as amazing as this anymore. Every time I re-watch it, I'm constantly noticing new things and finding more things to absolutely love. Not only that, I wish I could wipe my memory and re-watch it from the beginning for the first time again. So many twists, turns, amazing characters, amazing music and incredible characters to adore. They truly knocked it out of the park with this show. Definitely an all time favourite and I highly recommend it to everyone any time someone asks for recommendations. It's also definitely a show I'll be displaying to future generations to come just to show them how epic tv once was. Truly one of the best shows ever televised & just such incredible writing that has you hooked from the second the first episode starts right until the very end. HIGHLY recommended watch.
I really wanted this movie to be great, but in the end I came out of it disappointed. Whilst there were parts of it that were great in my opinion, there were also lines in there that felt so forced, the CGI was still just as bad as it was back in the series, and it felt as though Jeff Davis had tried to cover up for Stiles & Kira's absence by rehashing their characters and making Eli & Hikari have their exact personalities. Jackson also seemed to be some weird comic relief character that also felt so forced and weird considering we're not used to that from him and he ended up just being plain useless throughout most the film. Liam & Mason barely spoke to one another when they're allegedly best friends. Some of the scenes just felt so rushed and/or too prolonged, some of it just felt unnecessary. And yes, it just felt incredibly weird to have them all there without Stiles. Not to mention they ruined 6 whole seasons of build up for Stiles & Lydia's relationship over a dream. Yes, a freaking dream. That was the stupidest thing ever. It was lovely seeing Derek be such a caring and loving father which is why I hate that they killed him off at the end of it, especially in the last 10 minutes? It could've easily been avoidable. I loved hearing that Derek had fixed Stiles' jeep up himself, despite saying he 'despises' the thing. It really gave you a different view of his & Stiles' friendship. Malia & Parrish just felt so forced and weird (even Shelley Hennig herself said they both felt weird about it after reading the script). It feels as though Jeff has made her character just jump from relationship to relationship for no real reason, give the girl a break. All in all, this definitely was just a whole 'Allison making a comeback movie'. Jeff Davis rehashing his greats. It was nice to see Scott & Allison back together, I can't lie... and like I said, there was parts of the movie that I really did enjoy! It felt like the series again, my childhood! But, a lot of it just felt so forced and weird and didn't make much sense and as if the characters didn't even vibe together anymore. Tyler Posey saying "the fans are getting what they want" was absolutely not true at all. It's a big shame. All in all, it was a decent movie - but definitely needed improvement in a lot of areas.
Loved this episode, solely because it was absolutely adorable to see Phil & Haley bond together at his old college. Too sweet!!
This has gotta be one of the funniest episodes I've watched so far, had me literally almost in tears!
Absolutely fantastic drama, one of the best that BBC has produced even in 2022. Richard Madden does an absolutely fantastic job in such a demanding role. The show had me on the edge of my seat ewith every single episode, perfectly timed cliff hangers and unsuspected moments and plot twists - it has it all. Truly an amazing show & I wish I could go back and watch it all again for the first time. Such a shame it doesn't have a season 2.
Sebastian Stan is eerily good at playing such a deranged and unhinged characters & Daisy Edgar-Jones was just as fantastic; you could feel the fear through the screen. Both equally as brilliant in their roles, very well cast. It's definitely not a movie for the faint of hearted, but so brilliantly put together and thought provoking. An unexpected mixture of Thiller/Horror/Comedy that actually worked really well.
