This was a perfect goodbye, obviously the season had its problems, but I think overall it was fun. I really needed this. This whole season made me so nostalgic bbhkbhssdf
This was so cool. I love the animation style, the jokes and everything. Amazing.
It's so wholesome to see such different people interact with each other and open up. Also kinda scary to see how their parents had a huge influence on their personality (John's father who hurt him, the neglecting parents of Allison, etc.)
These characters were archetypes, and for me... it was okay. I liked these cliché characters. I think we can all find ourselves in one of them, or relate to some of these characters in a way. Brian, the nerd, Alison, the outcast, yeah, sounds about right...
And these characters developed through the movie, unlike stereotypical characters would. At first I totally thought the "jock" and the "princess" would get together at the end, but I'm glad that they didn't go with this stereotype.
The only thing I didn't like was the ending of the movie and its message. I know that even the actress of Allison Reynolds said that she didn't like the "transformation" of Allison, and that she needed this for a boy to notice her. And also Claire's ending was... Idk. Kind of messed up. John was just a toxic character in some way. But I guess these are just the things your movie needs to have, or at least needed to have in the 80's.
All in all, it's not a perfect movie, I can see it's flaws, but it was just... a great experience, I don't know how else to describe it.
And here I am, writing a review that probably nobody will read (other than me). But I don't mind that. I just want to have my thoughts written down, and when I read this back I want to remember this.
(also sorry for any grammatical errors, I'm really tired and my brain doesn't function in writing rn)
Woah, this was such a cool movie! Amazing graphics, great word building, I loved how they combined medieval stuff like knights with modern/sci-fi elements.
Also is it only me or did Nimona and Bal remind you too of Ellie and Joel from The Last of Us?
Why do people like christmas movies? ew
It's so nostalgic to look back at this
This movie was really disappointing. The story was complicated but it didn’t manage to grab my attention really. There were a few funny scenes though, but mostly the jokes felt a bit forced and cringy.
Scott has always been one of my favourite characters, but even he couldn’t save this movie.
The funniest marvel TV show ever.
It's based on the comics (Hawkeye by Fraction & Aja) and I recommend it, if you loved the series.
