@imgvbriel Hello! Female here... This show is stupid and cringy. And everyone with their right mind would agree. This doesn't have anything to do with sexuality. Stop giving people that bs dude. Yes I'm pansexual so don't u dare throwing that card. The issue is the script and acting is just ridiculously bad! Things happening that don't make ANY sense. Imagine fighting crime for years, saving lives but the city isn't thankful and they just turn down the light and you get replaced with a self centered b*** that is more interested in who gets credits for saving people than actually saving people. U know why most super heroes wear a suit? Cuz it's about fighting crime! You know what Batwoman does? Make sure everyone knows that a female is helping out with fighting crime. Lol! I love how she's praised in the first episode like she's on Batman his level straight away. Are you kidding me dude?
The trailer massively undersold this show. It's not a crappy rom com. It's a female led story with some great prospects. I'm excited for it to begin.

@imgvbriel So typical. Shaming those those who thinks for themselves. If your "questioning" self have an issue with masculinity and our ability to express ourselves, it sounds like you should have that conversation with your parents. Seems like they failed you miserably. I am entitled to my own opinions and so are you. You can't shame me but you can try though. "If you just want to watch your entertainment and not be exposed to gay men, lesbians, politics, and all these other politically correctness going on then you must be homophobic, sexist, blah" ---Shut the hell up. Don't come for me. I would not come for you. I am not one of those guys you can shame into submission. You done got me f!ck up.

I can't believe it, but the second season is better than the first. And I gave the first a 10/10. The quality of the show is so high. Acting, pacing, the camera work... wow... just wow.

@c4r1st0pher I disagree that it was better. It felt more disjointed, some of the new characters were pointless or close to it. Also last season everyone played a role in revealing the story and ended up together to tell that story which they tried to replicate in season 2 but it didn't work as well. Not to say it was bad, I enjoyed it still, but better than the first season is a stretch.
to all the guys who are talking nonsense things about the movie: it didn't destroyed your childhood, it destroyed your manhood
deal with that, not everything is about your stupid asses anymoreloading replies
@indicm don't be stupid. You are talking nonsense. We have our own heroes. We don't have to make a Wonder Man, Charlies Male Angels or whatever. Create your own heroes. That's why YOU are talking nonsense. We don't have to destroy our manhood, you women are destroying your own womanhood and we don't even have to move a finger. Ghostbusters game developer Fireforge filed for bankruptcy. How many companies you want to destroy before accepting you can't change what it's done? Even WOMEN lost their jobs on that stupid idea. Make your own movies. Aren't you girls that powerful? Then prove it. We know you girls can. And don't cry.

@imgvbriel "I don't have any issues with my masculinity" - Could have fooled me. You sound so hurt. Let me be the first one to tell you this. You do not need my acceptance or anyone else's for that matter.
You got some nerves. I give you that. Trying to tell me what I should do, like, dislike, etc...If I don't like it because I think the concept of Batwoman is stupid. That's that. That my prerogative. Who are you to tell me what I should or should not like and for what reason(s). You seriously think I am one of these people on tv who always apologizing for saying what they truly think\believe.
No more replies from me after that. You sound like you need some soul searching. I'll be kind enough to leave you to it.

@imgvbriel I wrote my comment but didn't attack anyone on here. This is so deep for you that you decided to name called everyone who disagreed with your views. Simply because you are having an issue with your masculinity doesn't mean we all are. I think the show is stupid I said so. I am tired of the me too movement. I don't go hide behind a curtain. I bluntly say it. I am unapologetic about what I truly think. That's what real man do. They speak their truth even if it hurts your sad little feelings.
Sounds like you are suffering from a serious self esteem, self loathing and/or a lack of acceptance issue and I suggest you consider speaking to someone about that before you explode.
This was the worst episode ever.

Low budget sci-fi, which seems promising on first look, but soon starts squeaking from multiple directions. For me it fits into category of "fill" series, which I watch when I have nothing better to do. My opinion is based on 9 watched episodes.
Few examples: [Minor spoilers]
*Jodelle Ferland aka Six wants to play immature girl, but is not really working. Everyone acts like she is about 14 years old, but she is clearly much older than the character she is playing, which is funny.
*I've also seen multiple attempts of funny scenes, but show didn't get anything more than "huehueh" from me.
*Four is a guy from traditional samurai family. I always facepalm when I see their soldiers "going to battle", with traditional samurai armor, drop their swords and start shooting with guns. (And no, their armor is not bulletproof).loading replies
Six isn't a girl, though. That's Five.
I heard great things about this guy, so when I saw it on Netflix, I was thinking it would make my evening after a rough day at work. Instead he spends the first 20 minutes bashing women. I'm sure he'd call me a feminist, but he's simply attacking women in what appears to be a desperate attempt to shame women into old stereotypes. Stand by your man ladies or we will shame you into submission. Even the First Lady jokes about Melania, Michelle and Laura (who he's so ignorant he thought admitting he doesn't know her name... like he's never heard of Google). I had to turn it off. Male chauvinist pigs are all over the country and they're actually funnier than this guy.

@tgrbabydoll everything he said was on point. Sorry you didn’t get it.
Filler episode, boring. I guess it was supposed to be emotional sentimental stuff, but I really really didn't get into it. The kid is annoying af. I kept hoping that he wasn't real, that it would be Eliott's self projection or something, no luck. Be it with the kid, Angela, his sister or the families, Eliott displays here levels of social skills way above anything he's ever done. It's probably meant to be touching, but it feels extremely out of character and out of place. Like the I wish you were dead/So do I dialogue. Again I get the goal of it, Eliott, not thinking and admitting it, supposed to be a real emotional scene. But why in the world would the kid ever say that ? It really comes out of the blue with no reason at all, only to justify the answer. The scene with Angela is even worse. It just feels weird.
This type of scene does not fit with the character, does not belong in this show, and so they clearly don't know how to make it work. Well, unless the point was to make us feel these human interactions as fake and awkward as they are to Eliott. In this case, bravo. But somehow I doubt that was it.
The one brief good moment was when he was himself and displayed his hacker/blackmailer skills. Good stuff on the BTTF references though I suppose it's hinting more and more to a future rewind, not sure how it would really fit into the whole.
loading replies
@fly_ You obviously don't get it, Elliot was about to kill himself by overdosing on the morphine pills, but then when the kid arrived, he stopped Elliot, then Elliot kept trying to get rid of him but he couldn't, then he went to the movie theatre and relived the same experience he had with his father that we can see in the beginning of the episode. I also loved how the day of this episode was October 21st 2015 and how Elliot talked about Back to the Future and all the references they made to this movie in the episode. And, at the end, Elliot manages to cure Angela's madness by using old memories. The music matched just perfectly with the scenes and this is another reason why this episode was one of the best of this season. The "I wish you were dead" dialogue doesn't come out of nowhere, Elliot says "So do I" because at this point he wishes he was dead, Elliot felt very guilty after the terrorist attack because he knew that he played a big part in it and that without him the attack would have never been possible. Elliot feels very guilty and this is why he tries to kill himself but the kid saves him in the end. In the end of the episode, Elliot realizes that Mr. Robot/his father is a part of him and that there are some things you can't get rid of. It's completely obvious, you are just too stuck in your head to understand what is going on, in some shows, you just have to feel to understand. There was nothing out of place in this.

@imgvbriel who said that the sucks because the lead is a women? I didn't read that anywhere?
We had awesome female leads in movies and shows for centuries. Ellen Ripley, Sarah Connor, Leia just to name a few. These days is just so damn forced and the focus on gender or sexuality or toxic masculinity (I hate that term), instead of a descent character development and a reason why he/she/it does something, can do something others don't etc. it's annoying, sometimes even ridiculous (look at you Rey) Easy as that.
I always thought, all the diversity shouldn't matter, so why is it soooo damn often the most important in shows/movies? Why?
And yes, I mainly want entertainment. If I want phrases and or politics I watch something about that.
I tried...i really tried. Watched all 6 episodes...but i just cant get past the fact that this is just a copy 1:1 of The Outer Limits....i mean common even the entry monologue... do not click back do not reload = do not attempt to adjust the picture. we are controlling the transmission. Overall...this is only good to watch at the end of my other 30 like show's seasons waiting for the summer ones to start. 2/10

@ramadri
Yeah, it's a copy regarding the style, you're right.
But the 90s' "Outer Limits" had been a copy of another show themselves: the 60s' "Outer Limits".
I LIKE that a show with this anthology creepy stuff style is back on air, no matter what its name is.
As long as they don't start to copy stories we've already seen, I'll have fun!
8/10!

Actually its named after a norwegian bookseries ( Author: Karl Ove Knausgaard ) which in norwegian is called "My Battle" but is called "My Struggle" in English. Chris Carter mentioned it in an interview.

@giorgio333 well, I can't stop offering people who say that such movie as this one is nothing to watch Supergirl series. At least the first episode. This movie is the godly perfect creation of eternal universe compared to something like supergirl, so it's definitely not 1.
I don't know about that last scene. I don't think it is cool to shoot somebody in the back when they are running away, especially since he didn't realistically have anywhere to run to actually get away from them any way.
loading replies
Sure, but they had no reason to shoot him at all, regardless of if it was a killing shot or not.
Okay, this show has been Fight Clubbing for a while now. Disillusioned protagonist tries to take down global financial industry through his schizophrenic alter-ego? But the end scene, where they just start playing The Pixie's Where Is My Mind? There's homage, and there's just straight up copying. This show is great, but it is seeming more like a gritty, modern reboot of Fight Club rather that its own thing.
loading replies
well, be honest, we saw it coming. I for one loved the "where is my mind" scene.
That series finale was probably one of the worst ones ever, in my opinion. Ted should have never ended up with Robin because she continuously hurt him and rejected him for other men. He was so happy with Tracy that it's illogical for them to not grow old together....
loading replies
Well she did die. Kinda hard to grow old when she died.
Since they recorded the kids talking to Ted in season 1 (everything was recorded around the time season 1 was recorded. even the end) they was planing on Tracy to die from the beginning.

@mellowb Why do you assume to know what you think that I assumed? I didn't say that they killed him. I don't think whether they killed him or not is even relevant. They definitely were shooting at him while he was retreating. I am going to stick with my original statement that you shouldn't shoot somebody in the back while they are fleeing (not even in the back of the leg).
