What a wonderful story! Besides that, the animations and visuals are the best I've ever seen!
I'm not so sure, how to think about this show. Sometimes it is really funny, bit it's getting more and more cringe.
I was kind of sceptical, but I actually really like the adaption of the books and quite excited for the next episodes.
This show is absolutely wonderful! Such a warm hearted and wonderful well written story! I loved every minute and hope, that we're getting a second season.
After the second season I'm finally releaved and hope, that Amazon will give a chance to show us the full story until the end.
Couldn't imagine, that this show would finally solve all the problems from the really bad first season. They shortened the story from the books but kept the feeling, so I'm finally releaved. I hope so much, that they will get the time to develop the story to an end and Amazon is not giving up this show. This final episode was showing, what is possible with this story.
I love that the show actually more follows books.
Most of this episode was quite boring.
Still having my issues with this show. Nynaeve seems to be the main character, while Rand only speaks two or three sentences during one episode. I can understand that many things were shortend, but some parts still feel rushed. Even or because I know the books, I'm sometimes confused about the motivation of the characters. Liandrin and the plot around her are totally different to the books and the ending with Mat and Min was quite confusing to me. But overhaul the second season is still much better then the first one. Still super annoying are the super dark fighting scenes.
Was wondering, when Elaine would be introduced. Now it happened. Rand got his five minutes playtime and is working in a psychiatry, which isn't in the books. He seems to have an affair with Selene in this town and it's actually not shown, that she's belonging to the Dark King. Liandrin now has a son, so even the last one understands, that Aes Sadai are getting older than normal people... It still feels like most of the changes don't make sense and are only complicating the overhaul story. On the other hand the second season is feeling actually better written then the confusing first season. And Verin is the first character I really like. And the new actor for Matt is a much better fit the one one of the first season.
PS: Fighting scenes while seeing almost nothing seems to be a new thing in this season.
Boring beginning for a new season. Besides that without knowing the books I imagine the episode would be confusing with all the different characters. Don't mention that this all doesn't have so much common with the books anymore :(
The last fighting scene was super annoying, because all the time you could only see a almost black screen. At the end everyone was hurt, but it was impossible to see why. Who the fuck thought, that this might be a good idea?
Funfact: The main character is shown for only three seconds.
He lost too much blood. Which blood? There was almost nothing to see!
That's just AMAZING! I'm absolutely speechless!
I'm very disappointed about this show, especially because it's rated so high. I loved the previous show, but couldn't get warm with this one. Neither the characters nor the story was catching me.
Wonderful episode with really great acting. Even I've missed some scenes I've cried a lot while watching.
This episode was really epic!
Very confusing episode! Got a bit lost this time.
Was quite nice and felt in the best moments like good old Star Wars.
But!
I can understand why they wanted to have a strong women cast, but why need all men be so stupid? Ezra is being hit, when the battle began. So the women need to fix it! Those decisions are destroying the show a bit for me.
Was so looking forward for the new season, but the first episode is so much disappointing!
A bit disappointed by the movie, but perhaps because it was so overrated. The overall story is very flat and sometimes it feels like a too long music clip. The beginning was very strong, but in the middle almost nothing happens and it got boring. You only see them touring and singing. No story, no acting and everything was very superficial. Didn't expected the ending, which was very sad, but as an final impression I would say, that it also wasn't so believable at all.
This episode was really intense, heartbreaking and just wonderful!
I liked the storytelling. It's so nice after this Kenobi shit. But the look doesn't feel actually so much like Star Wars. Was more thinking about Blade Runner.
Wow! This was very intense!
Nice Simpsons homage at the nuclear power station :)
A wonderful movie about courage and friendship. Really loved it!
Such a wonderful movie! It's heartbreaking, funny and absolutely fabulous!
This episode was kind of a fan service. No surprise, that I was getting enthusiastic as Darth Vader was shown, but the story itself has moments with now sense, what are as annoying as hell!
- Why destroying the barrier when they can just walk around?
- Why is Ben talking about Yedi, when the driver can hear every word?
- Even Vader could just walk around the fire!
- Why can Reva be faster than Leia?
Tatooine looks super nice and I loved to see Obi Wan again. But there are some logic failures. Why for example they are cutting meat and leave everything in the sun as they leave work? The chase of Leia was so badly acted and directed, that it was almost funny again.
Goosebumps! What a nice ending!
This episode is just a joke. I can understand why there are differences to the books, but most of the made changes made things more complicated or just didn't made sense!
As a fan of the books I already had my issues with the whole adaption and the first episodes. But I got satisfied withe the last episode, where finally Rand was shown as the reborn dragon. And now this!
This feels so poor, stupid!
The battle on the pass for example: The army is starting on horses. Everybody who already looked forward to see an epic battle, because the start is very promising, will be disappointed because.... they don't use the horses. The men of the army will fight in the barrier and will all die very fast against the trolloc army.
And then: The 5 women, who barely can use the force are blowing the whole trolloc army away - just like this!
Thousands of men were very wasted before. Why they didn't send just these 5 women for the fight?
In the meantime the fight between Rand and the dark one is so underwhelming. You cannot see that Rand (the reborn dragon) is the most powerful Aes Sedai in the world.
The scene where Egwene needs to heal Nynaeve from death (the whole scene is so unnecessary) is one more detail, why this show is so poorly written. Oh - Loial also died in this episode! But don't be sad - he will also come back as if by magic for sure!
