Was meh to me... I understand the budget is like 1/4 to other movies.. but this isnt what I wanted, the daughters (who happened to be baby boys in bogus journey) subplot was totally shoe horned in and felt unnecessary. What a waste....
I kept on thinking this is a prequel to Hellboy's Abe. But I was wrong, rewatched Hellboy again after this to see Abe was discovered sometime after 1851... A distant relative maybe?
One this for sure, Michael Shannon stole the show.
I really wanted to hate this movie.. But it's just so goddamn awesome! I loved every moment of it. Turn off your brain and enjoy the ride!
I liked it. Sure some parts are cheesy as fudge. But with that being said I really enjoyed it.

What a stupid movie! Amy the character is selfish and not someone I'd personally date. This movie is stupid and any guy who goes for a girl like this needs to be burned by the stake!

The trailer made it look like she's possessed through out the whole thing, what a waste...
In real life this guy would go to jail for multiple counts of sexual harassment and domestic abuse.
But of course this was made for the young ignorant girls out there where everything is just about dating the rich guy and living the good life.

You know what the first time I watched this movie back in 2009 I thought it was unique, thilling and original. But going back to it now I noticed,its predictable and really just poor man's version of Final Destination.
Give it a miss.
