@agent24 Storytelling at its best? Yeah, let's terraform a moon within two minutes to regrow the mycelium-forest wich would otherwise take years. Also let's tell everybody that the Evil Empress from the mirror universe is the somehow resurrected Captain Georgiou and let's make her command the Discovery for real. What could possibly go wrong? Is there nobody talking to each other? There were regular crew members present in the transporter room when Burnham and Georgiou beamed over. Why would you tell everybody she's somebody else??? Storytelling de luxe for sure.
@onlime You're right, this show solves problems very quickly but it always did, and I just enjoy the badassness of this show. Don't question every little detail. It is in fact just a TV-show :)
Btw: Yes, there were crew members present in the transporter room, but if I remember correctly, Suru instructed them not to tell anyone about the presence of the emperor, or they would have to stand trial for treason.
@agent24 the quick problem solving I can excuse. It is after all, as you mentioned, a TV show with a short runtime per episode. But in this the sollutions are really weak.
@finfan I can relate to what you getting at, but still I can't help but to love this show.

This penultimate episode of season one was fantastic! The storytelling is clearly at it's best this season. Can't wait for next weeks finale!
