So many shots of Jack make me think of Tom/Jacob from The Blacklist, now that I've finished two seasons of that show. He's not played by even remotely the same actor, but there it is.

What I do know: If I was Charlie, I'd be so mad at this woman telling me to ask for help when I need it, then saying she's not the one who can help me. Please don't let them turn him into a born-again Christian or anything like that…

@dgw To be fair, Charlie was shown to be a devout Catholic before, so it's not out of character for him to find solace in prayer. And even though I'm not a big fan of religion either, I think it's ok to have a few religious characters (Sayid's another one) - after all, a lot of people ARE religious and having many different personalities and backgrounds amongst the protagonists is one of main strengths of the show.

@cluisanna Definitely forgot about Charlie's Catholic background. I'm not doing this show any favors by taking so long to watch it (I've not even started season 2 yet, 18 months on)! Wholeheartedly agreed about diversity among the cast, though.

@dgw I only remembered because I binged quite a few episodes - I definitely agree that if Charlie wasn't shown to be religious before, it would be a weird turn for the show to take. Like this I saw it more of a "different people deal with things differently" statement.
