Is this a stupid-fun movie? Absolutely. But it is the best kind of stupid-fun movie: A well-executed and perfectly-paced stupid-fun movie.

Touching and relatable, with superb non-verbal acting performances from the leads and a side of Japanese culture you don't often see in media that enters the Western mainstream.
