One of the weirdest, boldest and closest adaptations ever made.
"Alice in Wonderland" by Nick Willing was my first experience with Lewis Carroll's piece and it was traumatizing. I was five and never got around to rewatch it until I was 15. Ten years later I had already read the book, whatched the Disney animation and a few other less mentionable ones too, and only then I was really able to figure out and admire all those weird choices that frightened me at first.
It's a beautiful film for anyone who isn't afraid of discomfort, of the atypical. Certainly a film that marked me forever.
