Surprisingly good as a first episode. Catches the feeling of Robert Langdon books very accruately.

But having Dan Brown, the original author of the books, on this as an executive producer this could be expected.

I'm intrigued how this plays out and if it can work a as series. The establishing of characters is rather lacking, though.
Just as in the books, you're thrown into the "nonstop" chase from place a to b without much explanation.

That's were I am skeptical about whether this can work as a series. If you do not know the character Robert Langdon, you might be a bit confused why he can figure symbolical stuff out quickly or why he is involved in this in the first place.
