If you value your sanity, I suggest not reading the reddit theories.
I agree the finale fell flat. It comes off as trolling the viewers by trying to seem much deeper than it really is. Like their goal was to set social media ablaze with wild theories rather than reward the viewer with a meaningful conclusion.
Still a fun series and I don't regret watching it, but the intent to troll was quite evident. Reddit is taking the bait, hook, line, and sinker.

Reddit will go wild with theories but my instant reaction is that it didn't stick the landing.
First were the painful awkward scenes (the cooking show, the gift giving, "I'm telling everyone") and then the interminable hanging upside down moments (the series going full-on A24).
This must have been very stressful to watch for pregnant women.
