What the heck is wrong with characters' names?! - Hieronymus Bosch. Not even changing the name or last name, leaving just one as a homage. Nope, same same as an outrageously famous painter. Like naming your detective Vincent Van Gogh or Pablo Picasso. Not George Picasso or Frank Van Gogh, so we know it's a reference, but not 150% obvious. Precisely the same - Jerry Edgar. Mmm, police, investigations and one J. Edgar... I wonder where I've heard that. A tiny bit more subtle than the former, but still - Irvin Irving. Just as a Jack Jackson, Paul Paulson. Nothing wrong, but meh
