Plácido is having a bad day and is very worried when Plutarco confesses that he married his boss's daughter because she is pregnant.
Plácido worries that Plutarco stole Gaby and he could lose his job. Don Justo threatens Plácido with denouncing Plutarco if Gaby does not return home in less than 24 hours.
Plácido can't find a job and his rent is three months behind. Martina thinks about how to get money to pay for school. Plácido disguises himself as a beggar to get money for the rent.
Don Justo gets very upset because he sees a video of Gaby and Plutarco on the news. Don Justo returns his job to Plácido, but he wants Plutarco to work without pay.
Gaby is very worried because Plutarco didn't get to sleep. Plácido is taken to jail for traveling in a stolen taxi and Don Justo pays his bail.
Plácido refuses to put on pay television so Don Arnoldo manages to steal a neighbor's signal. The police arrest Plácido for stealing the signal.
The grandfather's tests indicate that his state of health is serious and he is going to die, but later he finds out that there was a mistake and decides to keep the secret so that the family continues to consent to it.
Plácido runs Don Arnoldo out of the house after finding out that his illness was a lie. Don Arnoldo disappears, Plácido feels very bad for having treated him like this and remembers the moments they spent together.

The family accompanies Plácido to the roof to fix the TV antenna, but lightning strikes and changes their personalities. A fortune teller gives them a potion to return to their bodies.

Plácido makes an effort to strengthen his relationship with Plutarco but fails in all his attempts, such as talking about soccer or tying a tie.
Martina hears that Nena has a boyfriend and threatens to tell everyone if she doesn't do everything she asks, but later the family discovers their big secret.
Licha hasn't spoken to Nena for weeks because she has a boyfriend and demands that she end their relationship. Renata proposes that they make a meal so they can meet Nena's boyfriend.
La Nena takes a pregnancy test and it comes out positive but to save herself she says that the results are from her aunt Renata. Plutarco tells Lichita that Nena is pregnant.
Plácido takes a vote to see if La Nena stays with them or leaves. La Nena goes to live with Aldolfo in a hippie commune but Plácido realizes where and how she lives and asks her to return.
Plácido receives a notification that the new owners of the building will not allow more than four people to live per apartment, but Don Arnoldo discovers that the new owner is Silvia Pinal.
Silvia Pinal sends a statement to the López family advising that the rent will rise by thirty percent. The family doesn't know how to pay the rent because Plácido lost all the money he had gambling.
Plácido decides to save to lower household expenses and be able to pay the bills, so he gets rid of the telephone, electricity and television. Plácido wins a car, but since he doesn't have a phone, he loses the opportunity.
Martina gives Tecla a makeover and teaches her to be a cool girl. Licha asks Aldolfo to tell her where he comes from. Plutarco works as Valet Parking for his father-in-law, but he does it badly because he doesn't deliver the cars.
La Nena tells Plácido that she will no longer be able to help with the household expenses because she was fired from her job. The family competes in a TV game to win a house.
