Good new show and alone Gomez is worth watching :)
Oliver’s son is black. Is he adopted? Or poor casting job?
Haha...the three amigos for a new age. Loved how NYC-hostile they were to each other at first. Really poignant as the, "onion is peeled," for each of THEM, for we the viewers -- not each other. Loved the, "bouncing back," analogy, as they each found new footing to look past their past dramas (poignant)!
I didn't recognize Martin Short at first, I see so many flamboyant older characters these days (missed first few min. watching over my Mom's shoulder).
Within the beginning they show the three main cast get in the elevator and select their floors, 10, 12, 14, why then do they after show them from the outside below each other? I get that there wouldn't be a floor 13 but how is floor 10 and 12 above and below each other? Steve is on 14, Martin is on 10, Selena is on 12. They make a point about showing us.
The guy Tim Is one of the Hardy Boys? Also possibly Mabel's ex? Well, Tim got on the elevator at floor 6 and got off on the 9th floor.
Great opening episode. Established the early character beats we needed and a good setup for the mystery. It made me smile so much seeing them connect over their podcast and the crime. Looking forward to seeing how their dynamics progress.
Also loved the bonus Tina Fey!
That was a cute, fun, easy watch, and the characters, though seemingly plain and slightly bland on the surface, will, I think, as they put it, peel back their characters like onions.
That last scene!!
You had me at "Dad's got ALS now"
Liked the episode a lot: great visuals, great story, good balance between humour and seriousness, brilliant actors!
Was very happy to see Steve Martin again on the screen!
You can’t go wrong with Steve Martin and Martin Short !!!
not a bad start ,but not a catchy one either. I will see how it goes.
"Really? Do you not see this coat?"
I love Martin Short!
I never considered those fancy new york buildings have like an open space in the middle, that’s a cool fact to know!
So, I really don’t think that this shows theme and the theme of the podcast Serial sounding SO similar was an accident. Anyone else?
An okay half hour but nothing amazing.

I liked this, fun and easy to watch, and an interesting start to a whodunit story. The cast is fine as well, I think the three work well together.
This left me with a positive impression and I can't wait to see where the story goes. I just hope there's a rewarding ending.
