I liked this season. I hope they do another.

Meh, started great, has amazing moments
But overall:
Meh.
So let this end how we begin.

Quite liked this season. Was pretty good.

This season kicked some serious ass and this season finale was amazing. How can I wait for the next one? Been a long time Trekkie and this show is easily top 3 and really one for the 21 century. Let's Fly!

Every episode this season is absolutely Terrible! CBS, please just stop! Discovery is done. I love the Star Trek shows & this ain’t it! Just call this prog discovery & leave the Star Trek bit off, coz discovery isn’t even close to the high standards the normal Star Trek series has set.

These little droids were as useful in taking back the ship as Jar-Jar Binks.

loading replies

"Let's fly??!!!" That's "Korny" with a "K!"

It was a good ending. Not a great one, but a good one.

There's a lot to be nitpicky about here, from the change in inside ship scale compared to classic Trek to some convenient plot devices here and there. In general though, I feel like all of season 3 is back to the core of Trek values. I very much dislike the first two seasons, and like this one. I think season 4 can be the best yet, especially if they go back to the episodic format of old Trek. Not bad at all!

Many story elements were predictable, others make little to no sense. And yet this was way better than most we were offered in this season. A decent final, to a devastating experience.

loading replies

Felt like a series finale... Let's hope we don't see anymore of this dreck, at least I'm gonna try to have seen the last of this.

Aaaaaand Burnham saves the day - again, how original...

Regarding the other story:
While I generally think that the explanation for the burn is stupid, it was kind of obvious what set him off.

Why doesn't anyone besides Burnham have rank insignia in the final scene?

Final point: Roddenberry would probably turn in his grave, his widow pointed out that the War in DS9 was opposite to her late husbands vision. I doubt he would appreciate being cited in the final episode of a Star Trek Season featuring a dystopia...

I thought it was a pretty good finale. Well paced, no loose ends, warm feelings all around. Also the look the guy gave when he saw Saru really was one of him, so cute!

What a mess of a season, only to come back to where they should have started at the end of season 1. Burnam's character still needs serious development, which isn't impossible. Big effects need to be reduced, refined and reality checked for impact and immersion. By the looks of it, they're going to keep fighting until the series either breaks definitively or grinds down into an actual star trek series. Either way I think we're going to be stuck with it for a while

So, inside the USS Discovery is a megalopolis sized multi-directional transport system?
Get the fuck outa here!

It was cool that we finally got to see how the turbolifts work. However...how much empty space do they have inside the ship? Holy smokes. Seems like whoever designed that sequence forgot that these starships are supposed to be built like submarines.

loading replies

Wow all the blinking lights almost makes this unwatchable. And the shaking camera.

loading replies

It's was nice to FINALLY see some decent action but what fucking idiot wrote those turbolift scenes? Did he mistake Discovery for Tardis and thought the ship was bigger on the inside than the outside or what?

Otherwise this woke SJW trash was the worst Star Trek season EVER.

This is annoying and idiotic to say the least

The Whisperer finally becomes Captain even though she's been defacto capt. since the series began. - doing everything and Saving the day every minute of every day. There is nothing the discovery crew can do without her. Wonder how they got their jobs? Did she turn up at their interviews to give them a hand? The Pointless Book found a point again and acquired some Powers. - As you do. Not that that will be mentioned again in this series. Starship Burnham doesn't need anybody's help. 4 pts for the effects. (God knows how much money was thrown at the Special effects dept.here) 1 pt for David Cronenberg. No points for Criminally Underusing Tig Notaro. Series all over for another while in which the writers can come up with other implausible ways in which Whispering Mickey can save the day.

4 Hugs and a few mini group hugs to be had in this Covid Freespace.

I loved that the crew consider themselves family.

I loved that the bridge crew followed Tilly, because they respected her as the captain.

I also loved that good triumphed over evil, despite the line being somewhat grey.

And most of all, I love the diversity and inclusion of this show in general. Only people that have never had to watch a show and ask, 'where are the people who look like me,' would have a problem with that.

I had tears of happiness while I read the quote by Mr. Roddenberry. That tied it up with a bow on it...if that's the end of the series, I'm happy. Of course, I'll enjoy it even more if it continues!

Damn Stamets is so pussy whipped-whipped.......correction, dick-whipped.

Either way this will be as bad as the last 5! Time for a Reboot.....

I have a really hard time seeing the actor playing Adira being chosen, if it didn't loudly state that it's "SO" speciel. Sigh all the wokeness in this version of Star Trek is impressive.

Booker never told Bernum about his name. Either that or I stopped paying attention.

Come on, we all know Michael Burnham will save the day in the end like on every season, but it still feels great to see it all unfold before our eyes.
Despite it's flaws, I personally like this new modern version of Star Trek almost as much as I liked TNG and can't wait to see what happens next.
