[7/10] This one scrapes into “good” territory by the thinnest of margins. It’s a pretty weak setup -- will the kids steal from their parents money jar? But there’s fun to be had from each kiddo testing their conscience when it comes time to do the deed. The designs of the devil and angel versions of Bart, Lisa, and Maggie are fun, and it’s a trip to hear Maggie kinda sorta talk here. I also like the gag that both Bart’s devil and angel tell him to take the money. And the resolution, a near empty jar, replete with the line “You can’t even trust your own mother” is a good bit. Overall, this short starts slow but picks up steam as it goes.
