[7/10] Man, Homer can be a real jerk in these shorts. He’s usually grouchy with the kids but seeing him order Marge around with a threatening tone is honestly pretty jarring for a longtime Simpsons watcher. Still, I like the concept of Lisa (who feels a little closer to her eventual characterization here) “motivating” the rest of the family by drawing a picture of Homer on the Simpsons’ punching bag, to the ire (and eventual defeat) of her father. This has more of the cynical/dysfunctional tone that the series would be known for.
