God I love Keeley and Roy, the scene in the press room was so fucking cute! And can I just mention Roy again? He’s a fucking catch!
Very entertaining and makes me instantly wanna rewatch Mad Max: Fury Road
Definition of a "meh" movie. Good actors, nice characters, nice storyline. But it was never really catchy and sometimes it was just too...stupid? And it had to much dick jokes and sexual innuendos for my taste. I get it, they're supposed to never have fully grown up, but come on? Playing "tag" is one thing, but still being on the joke level of a puberty-hitting 14-old? And they're mostly just lazy jokes, not even funny, creative ones.
The music is good, tho. Can't recommend "Runnin" by "The Pharcyde" enough. And the tagging-screnes itself were OK, too, I guess.

Tuned in because it was baited by the lesbian storyline. But then stayed for the nice friendship story. It's so cute and sweet.
I so wanted to like this, I so much wanted it to be better than it was.
Seriously, the script is unfortunately very stupid and very predictable. While I very much loved the "concept" of the movie, the all-female spy team from different countries, the execution was just absolute shit. Plus all the actresses are seriously underused. But props to them to do their absolute best with this crap of a screenplay.
Nooo, I don't want Tyler to be the monster. But good to know that there are now two bad guys out there, which changes my suspicion slightly that Thornhill is the "master" and Tyler thus obvs the monster.
That was the episode when it finally clicked for me! I'm not sure what it was but somehow this little show has now claimed a piece of my heart.
Good episode, but definitely a filler. No real revelations (that one at the end was long coming, I think) but a few powerful buildups.
OK, several things:
- Enid is a gem. Please never change!- They want us to believe that Xavier is the monster, he's obviously not.
- On the topic of Xavier, he's such an insufferable, whiny and boring guy. His obsession with Wednesday almost borders on stalking, I find.
- The daughter was obviously never dead. I suspected this since last episode I think, but this confirmed it for me. She's back as Ms Thornhill - the only character who's recently new to the village.
- Tyler is most always the only adult in the room, which kinda hurts writing it out. He's only a teenager. Poor guy.
can't see what's the hype's all about. Totally unfunny and not in the least interesting and/or captivating. Sorry.
What an episode! loved everything - the costume, the casting, the setting, the cameraworks, the plot and it’s all so enthralling. Can’t wait for the next episode.
In comparison to some of the other commenters here, I actually liked this episode. I have never seen the original Willow nor do I know the story but so far it’s quite entertaining and interesting.
Way better (and funnier!) than expected, hope it gets a second season!
I really liked how the show explored the different ways which grief manifests itself, here in this episode with Raelle and Abigail. I also really like the internal conflict of Tally (oh Tally!) and how she handles it.
I am EXCITED for the next episode!
I quite like Soviet Jen and the extent of the whole Smoking side-plot.
the movie was such an adrenalin rush! and I mean that in the most positive way, it had me gripping my seat. Also, the curse was more realistic that I imagined and not just some magic hocus-pocus stuff.
This movie had no right to be as good as it was! Soft-rebooting a franchise from about a decade ago? Somehow it works and was almost better than anything I still remember from the original movies.
Also I did not really warm up to that Snow actor but I guess that makes the movie almost a hint better.
And unexpectedly, the songs are really good, reminding me of Dolly Parton and some are earworms right now.
OMG Jen’s pregnant?!? I have so, so many questions and not all of them are about the writer’s quality issues.
This one was much better than I expected. The money for the cinema ticket was well spent!
While not a bad episode per se - it's just a fair episode. Mainly because most of what makes the charm of "Person of Interest" for me isn't here at all - John's in lock-up and there's almost no comic relief and the episode takes it way too serious. Plus it's a kind of Harold-only episode and while I like him very much as a character, combined with this episode's boring plot he's very underused here.
The Elias-Storyline wasn't really my cup of tea but looks like it's finally over.
Holy shitballs, those last 15-10 minutes of the episode after the Spree attacks were so intense!
I love body-switch episodes and this one was no exception!
Very decent movie - sometimes slightly too long, maybe they should've cut the scene with the dancing lighter guys, which dragged on for ages!. Casting was spot on though, and Emily Blunt was definitely the Mary Poppins I never knew I needed! Decent songs, too, especially the one about judging book by its covers (still humming it right now).
This movie is so terrible! It consists of two douchebags talking about each own's life and experiences while they go as singles on a destination wedding. They will never stop talking. Not even when having sex or being attackt by wild animals. Often they lie and exaggerate. They only talk to each other and mostly they don't really listen to each other and are just one-upping and/or putting the other one down. They are sociopaths and while I think that's the point about the movie, it's just unbearable and very terrible.
I walked out at the intermission. I regret even purchasing the tickets and spending my time for the first half.
2/10 - would maybe recommend to my worst enemy.
Pretty scenery and great actors who tried to do their best with the script. But while I enjoyed the alternative viewpoint from Maria instead of the "normal" Jesus story, the story wasn't told well. I never really figured out who was who from the Apostels. Until the brother's kiss I never knew that Tahar Rahim's character was supposed to be Judas.
Oh boy, what a slow-paced and boring movie. The two leads were super obsessed with each other and towards the ending, really creepy. Also, the relationship was super unhealthy and made no sense! At certain scenes we all looked with disbelief at each other in the theater, just so stupid. Plus, the movie was too long and the only highlights were all the costumes (so pretty!) and the rare but beautiful sass of Cyril.
4/10 I do regret seeing it and I consider the time wasted, but oh well!
