This movie is SO bad. This movie should have taken place before Iron Man 2 so we could see how she became Black Widow. Instead we get a movie that takes place after Civil War but before Infinity War; a story that really has no impact on the MCU whatsoever. In the movie we get to meet Natasha's "family" who we've never heard of and probably will never see again. This movie moves at a snail's pace and if you are looking for action? Move along, because this movie is like 80% talking, 5% stupid "jokes" and 15% action. This movie doesn't even feel like it belongs with the other MCU movies. Everyone feels like they are just phoning it in; the acting is bad, it's dull and I didn't care about anything that was happening. One of the MCU's biggest mistakes was this movie.
This series looked really good and it turned out to be okay at best. I just want to hear about the films and the curse, not about some bullshit exorcist who appears in CLEARLY STAGED scenes.
The first thing I will say about this movie is that it's not terrible. The story is interesting, the characters are good led by the always charming Jennifer Lopez. But, the guy she is with and wants and so forth is an ASSHOLE. This guy gets pissed off at her in almost every single scene, talking to her like she's an idiot. And the whole time we are supposed to be rooting for this couple to get together? Nope. Not here. I was rooting for her to see how much of an ass this guy really was, but sadly no. And then the movie ends with a really weird, out of place scene where it's some time after her babies were born and then she throws up in a garbage can and the two stare at each other with wide open eyes. Were they seriously setting this up to have a sequel? I hope it was supposed to be a joke, because it's been 11 years and no Back-Up Plan 2! Either way, the movie is okay but there are some stupid, cliched moments like a "giving birth hurts so if the woman is yelling in a deep baritone voice then it's fucking hilarious" scene, "guys always can't stand hearing about female anatomy and they pass out" scene, "having kids is really, really hard so let's make sure the guy sees nothing but the bad side of having children" scene, or in this case scenes. I give it a low rating for all the things mentioned, but if you remove the guy and replace him with a different actor then this movie might have been really good.
Such a horrible movie. If you want to watch Matthew Broderick read the script and the songs, then this movie is for you. Also, if you want to see Molly Shannon OVERACT more than anyone I've ever seen, this movie is also for you.
I was so excited to watch this and very, very quickly let down. Yes, it feels like the 90s direct-to-video movie it is, but it's very slow moving, it's basically a remake of Child's Play. The little girl in the lead is actually really good, amazes me she quit acting 3 years after this. Pinocchio does nothing until at least 30 minutes into the movie, he's shown in the beginning and then disappears for quite a long time while the movie is telling us the story of a man who killed a bunch of kids and she's trying to get him life in prison, but he's sentenced to death which apparently happens the very same day in this world. Overall, I was very, very disappointed in this.
Awful. What a waste of film this episode was. It's a failed pilot for a spin-off of characters we haven't ever seen before with some really bad acting and oh yeah, there's a cameo by Natalie and Tootie. Yes, they wanted to create a spin-off of Tootie's aunt and uncle.......
