The liquid that bathes the newborn is the same that washes the lifeless body before the wake. Excess water causes death by drowning and scarcity causes the body to fail due to dehydration. In those bodies that have already had more relationships with nature, the liquid represents the heritage, ancestry and the human side that we are forgetting.
