"Are you lost, baby girl?" lmao
Pure, unrestrained female fantasy and wish fulfilment. Laura is a gorgeous, bratty supermodel who is pursued by an obnoxiously rich and sexy Massimo who kidnaps her against her will and threatens to hold her hostage for one year or until she falls in love with him; but it's all ok because he's attractive and wealthy. Shopping trips and weirdly angsty sexual standoffs erupt into full blown sex on a private yacht while Laura dines on the finest foods, gets made up by hired stylists and attends lavish balls all while pursued by an Italian supermodel.
Just as Laura get used to her new lifestyle, it's with much sorrowful gusto that Massimo must send her away for her own protection, and what is her reaction? Well it's to confide in her best friend about everything that's happened of course, double down on the usual "he didn't deserve you girl!!" narrative and have a lavish spa day while drinking bottomless champagne and mimosas. This defiance doesn't last very long before Massimo reappears, saving Laura from her dumb, cheating ex and the two confess their love for each other while having another round of explosive sex in another extravagant apartment.
Female fantasy fulfilment wouldn't be complete without another lavish shopping trip, but this time for wedding dresses, where her comic relief best friend sheds a tear at how beautiful she is and how great her big day is going to be. It's all so formulaic, basic and trite. It's just pornography with extra steps.
I know I'm not the target audience for this kind of content, but I was recommended this by a woman at work who said men should watch more media for women so they can understand what they actually want. My only takeaway after watching 365 Days is that women just want an obscenely attractive man who has bottomless wealth and lives only to serve her every whim and extravagant purchase, all while being weirdly pursuant and controlling. This seems like a problematic and pretty damaging expectation to build in women, but I'm not cut out to have that kind of conversation.
I've rambled enough, but between the MTV-tier musical interludes between each scene, the absurd plot, shallow message and oddly curt cliffhanger ending, this is just a bad movie. You're better off just watching one of the higher production value porn movies that are put out these days than sink the 2 hours into whatever this is.

The fuck? (pardon the pun)
It's actually impressive how diabolically terrible '365 Days' is. I had heard small details about how sexual this was but hadn't seen anything about the film's other aspects. Now I know why, there aren't any.
It's just one big illicit romp with practically nothing holding it together, a cynic would say this is Netflix just getting pornography on their platform through the back door (pardon the p... nevermind).
The worse part about this is the glorification of sexual violence, whether it be kidnapping or even - startlingly - rape. How the plot plays out is actually extraordinary - it turns out THIS is the way into a would-be lover's heart... who knew?! It's crazy. You could argue it's a sexually explicit retelling of 'Beauty and the Beast', but that's an argument for another day.
They could've done this without the aforementioned and still got the same vibe out of the film, it's bizarre why they choose to go down this direction. You can make characters hate each other before jumping into bed together, you simply do not need the criminality aspect.
If I were to offer minor solaces of 'praise' about this 'film': the music (random Mabel is random) and the end scene, which is well shot.
