A lovely stylized but in the end sluggish movie.
The 3 monsters aren't really interesting and don't offer comic relief either. They could easily have shaved of 30mins while still offering everything it offered in it's current form.
If your looking for a slow anime story with little to no plot... This might be for you. It's definitely not bad.. Just not good either.

Amazingly animated movie with a non-original story. How many times have I seen similar ones? A lot. Those 3 super natural beings annoyed the hell outta me sometimes and a slow pacing may be a drag for somebody (personally I do not care). Still... Ghibli-esque feels are strong in this one. Very strong. I liked it.
