It’s not “The Godfather”. However, considering all the recent duds he’s made, it feels like it is. Some funny moments throughout.
Don’t listen to the haters…this movie is ok. I’m Italian so I can say that this movie hits all the checkmarks in the accuracies of growing up Italian…. I don’t think it was meant to be a slapstick comedy kind of movie but there were laughs…. Relax and chill and enjoy a movie just to movie for the night.
For a comedy, I don’t think I laughed once. The movie is very simple and the humor is very dumb. The trailers gave a way the entire movie as well. It’s watchable, but I’ll never need to see this one again.

It's a cute rom-com with a twist on parent and sibling relationships. It's not like a 10 oscar nominee, but it's a cute feel good movie and in today's climate that's refreshing. As expected DeNiro steals the show even when he's not saying much. Good for laughs and an evening in.

I truly expected an entertaining movie, but it was really mediocre. Please, do not make Sebastian cry in a movie once again. His crying face is worse than Kim Kardashian.
Made me sad to be Italian for a bit.
Maniscalco lies to his partner in a dark and unforgivable way. Then when she forgives him he does it AGAIN with an even worse thing and gets away with it.

I had lower expectations for this movie, based on the premise and the poster it seemed like a typical type of comedy. But in reality it's actually better than I expected. Seeing a story about father/son love and a good father figure was quite refreshing for a change.
