Much better than I expected. And much more disturbing - particularly at the beginning.

Unique and interesting movie. I really liked how it spiraled away a bit in the second half.

This is a lesson. If you have watched the overrated Blair Witch project and liked it... Well... You should watch this one and you'll see how good horror movies in a "documentary style" are really made.

This movie was a nice surprise! It is a well crafted found footage tale that can be compared to Chronicle. For a low budget entry they certainly had some great camera tricks in store. I really wanted to rate it higher but the character's reaction to everything unfolding weren't realistic and the catalyst for the whole thing could have been something other than the most overused type of creature in pop culture today...

Every now and then you find that movie that flew under the radar. This is one of those movies!

Rewatching it 8 years later and it's still a masterpiece of a movie. In the vampire horror genre, I still haven't found a better one

A quite refreshing take on found-footage subgenre which actually has genuine thrills and still manages to maintain the fun throughout, despite the increasingly horrifying events that are occurring. It starts as a typical found footage film but ends up being a skillfully crafted and well-acted one. The characters are really good and the storytelling is a huge factor of why this film work so well. There's also some cool action and stunts going on in there and the different cameras make those moments seem more tense and just all the more interesting. I'm definitely curious to see what the pair of filmmakers have up their sleeves next. If you are going to watch this I suggest not knowing much about it.

Found this gem while browsing for an entirely different title. I had no idea what the movie was about and (for once) didn't bother to read the synopsis; the title and artwork was enough to captivate my attention and put this in my Watchlist and I don't regret it! It went on maybe a bit longer than it should have, and was a bit slow getting started (for me, anyway) but the story itself was an interesting - and modern - twist to an old plot. Definitely recommend this one for anyone looking for something different, especially if (like me) you don't care to sit through these 3- and 4-hour marathon movies. This was a great film!
