File Aladdin as one of those Disney movies that will live on forever. No remake, no live action, no sequel will top this film. The cast was all great, but there is no doubt that Williams made this film with his Genie. The jokes that Williams was able to bring to the film was hands down, one of..if not the best, performance in a Disney film to date. The animation was fantastic, the storyline was great, but most importantly, Aladdin had one of the best (and most complete) soundtracks from a Disney film! 10/10!

Too distant from the original tale, but the animation style, considering it is a 1993 movie, seems very advanced for the time and I was actually quite surprised.

Watching for the first time. Absolutely and 100% loved and enjoyed it until the very last minute. Definitely one of the best. RIP Mr. Williams. Still putting a smile on our faces.

Robin Williams gives such a great performance that it not only carries the movie but is one of his best performances of his career. The rest of this movie is magical. A Whole New World is still an all time Disney sing-along favorite.

Robin Williams pretty much carries this entire film. I LOVE Aladdin but without him it wouldn't have the charm and comedy it does. The songs are magical and the scenes are beautiful. A firm favourite animation.

My personal favorite from the Disney Renaissance

I'm rewatching all the Disney classic I saw as a kid now as an adult. I didn't realise how good this one is.

It's give it a 9 if I'd never seen the animated version and it was all new to me. it's just not nearly as good though Smith puts in a solid effort at his own version of the genie.

Disney really can't do a lot wrong. Aladdin is another good one.

Robin Williams - that's all that really needs to be said.

1992's 'Aladdin' is simply outstanding! There's so much which is great about it, but it is Mr. Williams who elevates the film up a notch. He is hilarious in the role of Genie, every joke lands thanks to his impeccable delivery - the animation plays a huge part also, so credit to those behind the scenes.

Away from him, you still have numerous pluses. Scott Weinger and Linda Larkin are good as Aladdin and Jasmine, but Jonathan Freeman steals the show under Williams with a top notch display as Jafar. Gilbert Gottfried also brings the laughs as Iago. A terrific bunch of characters.

The premise is fascinating, with the ending enthralling to watch. Alan Menken's music is utterly superb, with a whole collection of amazing songs - my standouts being "Prince Ali" and "One Jump Ahead".

I enjoy the 2019 live-action film, but there's simply no beating this original. A must-watch for all.

Robin Williams and great songs make this one of the best animated films ever.

No other Disney film is dominated by one character, or more specifically, one actor quite like this one. The central story is unremarkable and both Aladdin and Jasmine are fairly bland and uninteresting, but the film is visually stunning and, as usual with many Disney films, the secondary characters around the heroes are much more fun, especially those that have no dialogue - both Abu the monkey and the Magic Carpet steal every scene they are in in the first half. Jafar is suitably evil and creepy, although his parrot grates after a while. The score and songs are fun and lively, with Aladdin's entrance into the city as a prince standing out from the rest. But this is a film tailor-made for Robin Williams and the filmmakers wisely just let Williams go for it. Every scene with the Genie has a relentless energy to it that the rest of the film struggles to match and this alone makes Aladdin one of the stronger Disney films.
