I was nicely surprised by this movie. Knew nothing about it but watched it because Jenna Ortega was in it. The premise is a shock if you go in blind and the plot development throughout is fun. I enjoyed this one.
Having not heard of this movie until the day of watching, but LOVING Jenna Ortega and her incredibly strong 2022, I had to check this out. It was fine, but unfortunately her weakest outing of the year. It is stylized in a way someone out there will love, but it lacks in some key areas.

The satire is a little heavy handed but this still gives us plenty of food for thought. Entertaining for the most part with a disturbing twist.
With the title, I expected something along the lines of The Purge or Assassination Nation. Instead, I got a predictable, middle school version of Get Out.
