I just love Frank Sinatra and Gene Kelly together! They only did a couple films together but they had such a great dynamic and they were so fun to watch together. As usual, Kelly plays the womanizer trying to help out his unexperienced friend only to accidentally fall for the same girl. There was a similar dynamic in their othed film, Take me out to the ball game, and yet, I can't get enough of these two. The singing, the dancing, the humor, it just all comes together so well.
Not enough great dancing, too many sappy songs, about an hour too long overall. The Zorro fantasy sequence is the best part followed by the Jerry scene. Sinatra actually dancing was a surprise.
