What makes Angel great is not really the story (not that it is bad) or anything like that. It's the lovely cast of characters and the actors that portray them. Donna Wilkes (even though she was a bit too old to be a 15-year-old) as Molly/Angel, Cliff Gorman as the caring cop, Susan Tyrrell as the lesbian landlord, Rory Calhoun as the old cowboy street performer, and who can forget Dick Shawn as the transvestite friend. There are so many great characters in this film, it's not hard to find out why so many people love Angel... and if you can't tell, I do too.
Definitely different than most films out there, plays kind of like a familiar run of the mill drama but mixes in exploitation and a serial killer which makes it unique. One of the highlights for me was seeing David Underwood in a film, only prior known to me from Sewer Shark on the Sega CD. Not a great film overall, but glad I watched it.
During the day he studies, at night he annoys.

Good bit of 80s sleaze thriller across L.A. Susan Tyrell's eyebrows need their own movie
