Considering the actual television show ran for a further 5 years after this movie outing, it's surprising the script is so weak. If you're a fan of the series, you'll be entertained by the talented cast but Jeremy Lloyd et al were clearly trying to tap into the popularity of the Carry On movies as you could be forgiven for thinking you were watching Carry On Being Served, certainly once they arrive at the hotel. Also, it may have served the hijinx of the plot but I don't recall Captain Peacock lusting after Miss Brahms in the series...
Only really worth watching if you liked the series but even then probably only watch it for completionist's sake.
