Couldn't even finish this trash, yuck.
Very silly plot, weak acting (only Travolta is doing a mediocre job) and not a single intriguing moment makes this action flick one of the baddest I've ever seen!
Reminded me of straight to video sci-fi movie with no good qualities.
It's one half office space, the other a sci-fi thriller… it's messy and nonsensical, but at least it's entertaining and unironically humorous at times, so it's not as unwatchable as people say it is, IMO.
I don't know why I did this to myself, maybe because of growing interest in the cult that made this garbage.
Forest Whitaker gets a B, John Travolta gets a C-, everybody else fails mostly on the back of a bad screenplay that was yet somehow better than the source material but with really asinine decisions.
But the best is the CGI... which is so bad I can't describe it. Coming one year after The Matrix and with a larger budget, the special effects of this movie are surpassed by contemporary TV shows.
I can think of no better piece to establish the timeless opprobrium legacy of Lafayette Ronald than this debacle.
