Although limited by the quality of filmmaking of 1979, the art of David Blackwood's etching and the masterful storytelling of Gordon Pinsent transport us to a Newfoundland, gone past but not forgotten. The 48th Academy Awards gave this an Oscar nod and I give this film a 7 (good) out of 10, [Documentary]
