Buñuel in the Labyrinth of the Turtles 2019

Very interesting. I need to watch Age of Gold and Las Hurdes just right now. A movie tells the making of a movie, like Tim Burton's Ed Wood and The Disaster Artist but with animation and some surrealistic flashbacks.

I fell asleep in the middle of it and when I woke up I didn't have the impression to have missed anything, so I guess that's good?

This is an animated film about Buñuel's making of Las Hurdes: Tierra Sin Pan / Land Without Bread (1933) and those who have seen that 'documentary' will no doubt appreciate this film more than I. The story and the pacing were fine in Labyrinth of the Turtles, though I found the animation style a little too... primitive for my tastes.
