I never saw any of Chaplin's films yet, I just saw some clips from many different films but I definitely want to explore his filmography.
After seeing some clips from this film and someone that has told me that Robert Downey Jr. was great in it I wanted to see it right away and I really enjoyed it.
It's always good to see Downey Jr. act and once again I loved him! He portrayed Charlie Chaplin brilliantly! All of Chaplin's moves were perfectly executed!
This movie is more centered in his private life but it also has great parts about his cinematic life. It shows how people loved silent movie stars and how the transition from silent to sound made some slient actors fall in forgetfulness, even Chaplin suffered during that times as well.
Definitely worth watching!
This is Robert's best performance , loved him
