Ashley Scott stars in the cheesy, low-budget holiday rom-com Christmas Mail. The story follows a single father who receives a promotion at the post office he works at to spy on a woman who’s been sent to his branch on special assignment to answer letters to Santa; meanwhile his daughter tries to set him up with a girlfriend. Scott gives a fairly good performance, given what she has to work with, but the characters are poorly writer and the dialog is atrocious. And the sets couldn’t look more cheap and generic. Formulaic tripe, Christmas Mail should be returned to sender.
