Great example of how the movie poster lures you in. The netflix image for this movie showed a family of four approaching a cozy looking church in the middle of nowhere surrounded by snow. There is no family of four, and definitely no snow. The Trakt.tv image shows a similar image but it's a guy with his dog instead and there is no guy with a dog in this movie at all.
Ultimately, this is an urban story that takes place at a mission in downtown LA (or possibly Long Beach) about helping a family (and some others) in need. It has a good message and kudos to the indie filmmakers for pulling it off but don't expect anything too fancy.
