This. Ay have all the elements of a high school comedy, but it’s not. This movie contains no jokes and no moments of humor. I was thoroughly bored.

Cross Wes Anderson with John Hughes and you get this witty and engaging high school comedy. Topped off with a fine turn from Bruce Dern, and you get a movie which while not quite an A, still deserves a B +.
