A six part comedy drama anthology in black and white. I watched this because Denis Villeneuve made one of the stories but I ended up being surprised by the other stories as well. They were all decent and interesting in their own way, I can't even pick a favorite I think they were all equal. The stories are all mixed up and happening at once and that mixed me up a little. I found it hard to keed up with which one's which, constantly remembering where we were at and not being sure if a story is finished or if we're getting back to it later. It would have been better if they just split the movie into six parts, for me at least. Clever dialogue and solid comedy if you get the cultural references, I laughed a lot especially in the "Jules et Fanny" segments. Good musical choices and acting.
