[Huelva FF] Through local elections in a small village in Brazil, the roots of corruption, vote buying and violence surrounding electoral processes are analyzed. The choice of the thriller genre for this reflection allows a forceful directing. But it leaves a feeling of certain superficiality. The conclusion it raises is that corruption is born out of poverty, out of necessity. It is, therefore, an incurable disease.
